Because apart from sir's newspaper analysis you would learn various new words,academic jargons, as well as learn how to write statements in a better way. to be precise, the language and the use of right words and ofc the article page as well. That will help you in essay writing. However one should not read the entire newspaper. Try to find out the important news.
