I bought 2 different serving jigs & the white 30 lb braid. The Beiter profi & the October Mountain Products "revolution serving jig". Both seemed the highest quality. This whole process is really fascinating to me I think after 21 yrs of building houses this might be a nice way to transition into semiretirement. Thanks for the tutorial. Great stuff.
Thank you sir. Always nice to have your own work involved in catching a nice fish. Just got back from a 6 day'r on the RP. Got another nice 150lb bluefin on my 50# windon w/nail knots. Satisfying. You'll enjoy making the leaders, having a stronger connection than a knot with no loss of test, and line flies thru guides better than with any knot.

How did you make your jig can you do a video on makeing one
Pretty easy, I got the wood for free at Home Depot, scraps. Picked up the clamps at Harbor Freight, about $8. Done.
