Yes, even though the "Preferred" view was questionable, the room was awesome as was the resort.
Pretty sure that's the standard view room. Somewhere the wires must have been crossed.

We did notify DVC of our opinion but no idea whether that room has been changed in their booking system or not.
I agree that it is definitely not a preferred view. Disney is stretching it too far to say it’s a view of the pool area. Very disappointing.

Did they have fireworks that evening? I wonder if it was Preferred, not just because of the pool view (I’ve see videos of views with the parking lot instead), but if you face the park you might be able to see the fireworks?
There were no fireworks while we were there. If there were I do not think we would have seen them from that room.
