Except he isn’t dead. I used to wonder how Sarah would react if he was actually dead but you can tell from here that she feels really guilty and would have been absolutely devastated. Even though she acted really selfishly when she found out he is alive. I know David wanted to ruin her wedding day but I think he did actually want to kill himself as well.
