Amazingly its still intact, however, there is some new electrical hardware like what is looking a digital electric meter at 5:18? and other panels are well shown later in the vid, am assuming this bunker was still in use by the Norwegen army after the war.

So glad you found tbis place open and filmed it ab absolutely amazing place and thank you for sharing. Most people will never see a bunker from the outside never mind inside and in such good condition. My favorite bit was that generater i bet there will be a date on it somwere.

Starting from Rolleiflex cameras as a kid (the best then, my dad had 2) I have had this high respect for German engenuity. It has not diminished one iota watching these fine vids. The detail! No $$ shortcuts, stuff - still - working!
Most original equipment I’ve seen in a bunker before, very cool bunker. I’m assuming this one is really secured and locked up tight all the time

Awwesome bunker looks like it would not take a lot to get it all up and running its even got central heating, i wonder how far down the water went in the room at 1.50 as it look like there are steel steps at the door way ?thank you for sharing
Thanks, Yeah I was pretty stoked about finding it unlocked. I think the room with the water was a cistern. You can kind of make out the bottom, at least I could when I was actually there.

Seriously impressive! I started off board because no one was talking, but theni could not stop watching! Was a lot of this bunker above ground? Hard to believe that there is so much stuff laying about. Was this used after WWII? Lastly at the end you took us into a cave. I got excited! Yeah man! Lets keep going!! Did you get scared?

The cave at the end is where I started at the beginning of the video, so that was the entire bunker I'm afraid :-) The bunker was used a bit by the Norwegian army after WW2, but for the most part it's been sitting unused/abandoned. Nope, unfortunately not. The nearby Austrått fort with the tripple canon from Gneiseneu (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austrått_Fort) is a museum, but this bunker which is situated a couple kilometers away and was the command center for the canon, is more or less abandoned. It's locked and there's no general access, but that is about all the maintenance it gets. A couple of years ago, someone broke into it and lit up a tire fire inside there, so I don't know what the condition of this place is toyda.

the bunker had more than what a house had in it.in them days people still had out side toilets .the germans were good builders .

Didn't realize the allies left any German bunkers intact after the war, espescially in good enough condition to be repurposed.
The generator is worth a fortune ( 3HK65 Junkers counter piston diesel engine) especially with the original Switchboard. I am sure it would be possible to get that thing running again making electricity: th-cam.com/video/JwQ2GW7-Qks/w-d-xo.html

Oh hey I literally live less than 5 mins from this place on foot :D Been there tons of times, its a fantastic place. For those who believe in the more spiritual side however...its THICK with activity, I literally become nauseous when I enter the bunker from all the negative energy in there.

It was the command bunker for the huge 28cm triple cannon battery at Austrått: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austr%C3%A5tt_Fort and also staff bunker for the facilities of the surrounding area.
all of these underground bunkers can be refurbished and can give some of the homeless a break........ instead of constantly being hassled by cops

No, a building obviously do not hold any political, religious or whatever beliefs. However, the bunker was unquestionably built by the Nazi regime governing Germany and occupying large parts of Europe during WW2. It was also not built by any individual person, so whether the all Germans were Nazis or not is irrellevant. It was built by the Nazis and it's origins are Nazi Germany, hence "German Nazi bunker" is a reasonable way to explain this point.
