Hi everyone! This song is an all-time classic and a true fan favorite! "22 Acacia Avenue" is part of the legendary The Number of the Beast album and continues the story of Charlotte the Harlot, a recurring character in Iron Maiden’s early work. The transcription here follows the original studio recording, but personally, I’ve always loved the live version from Live After Death even more. In this video, I’m focusing on Adrian’s rhythm guitar parts. His riffs really bring the flavor and complexity to the song, while Dave sticks to a more straightforward approach. Enjoy, and happy playing! 🤘😎🤘
I love this song. When you cover the entire 'The Number of the Beast' album, don't forget to include 'Total Eclipse'! It's a hidden gem that deserves to shine.
Have you checked out Charlie's Maiden Covers channel? He has covered every song from the first album in order and is currently on Book of Souls. He is an amazing guitarist who deserves more audience for what he is doing. UP THE IRONS 🤘
Killer cover! Love this song, especially the Live after Death version...well every song on there is perfection live...lol. Great playing and fantastic tabs! UP THE IRONS 🤘
This one is a truly fantastic song, though because it was released in such a perfect album, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't make it up to the album's top 3 for most people. Still, one of my favorite by Maiden.
Totally agree! It's also one of those songs that makes me feel nostalgic and wish I could go back to the '80s every time I hear it. Not sure why, and it definitely has nothing to do with the song's theme haha.
Hi - I've bought your two Maiden books so far. Your tabs are brilliant and always seem very playable. Do you offer a service like where I could request a song and you do me a tab/GP file? Thanks!
First and foremost, thank you for your support! It means everything to me that you find my tabs helpful. Unfortunately, I don't offer this service at the moment due to a severe lack of time. However, you could contact me by sending an email to info@songtutorial.com with a link to the song you'd like transcribed. Depending on the complexity of the song, I’ll let you know what I can do. Thank you so much for your interest in my work! 🙏🙏🙏

Dude your picking is absolutely immaculate WOW . I love it .Thanks for this classic .
Dave Murray lives about 2 blocks away from me . Every time I see him I give him the air guitar solo and he smiles and gives me a nod of the head.
Seriously? Send him my regards haha 😜
Nicely done… definitely a favorite of mine 🤘
Thanks!

I'll definitely be learning this one on my Dave Murray signature Fender strat!
Ohhh I wish I could lay my hands on one of those. Maybe in the near future... let's see...

What's amazing about this album is that almost all the songs could easily replace the original versions.
Very good tabs, thanks 🤘.
Thank you. Cheers! 🤘
🤘🤘❤❤
Awesome!
What gear/settings are you using to get the Maiden sound? (pedals, amp, etc)
I use BIAS FX2. It has some 70s Marshal simulators that get this sound. Plus an Ibanez Screamer simulator.

Nice!
epic! what about Moonchild?
Yes, I will do it. Don't know when though.
Fantastic work as always. One of my favourites. What next? Prowler?
Thank you so much! I'm preparing Gangland and Stranger in a Strange Land, but hopefully, I'll do Prowler before Christmas. 😉
great video. are you using phaser during the verse?
Unfortunately not. I think Iron Maiden play this riff with wah or phaser or something like that.
