As y’all know, All Week on my Instagram & TH-cam Story, I’ve been saying that my video this week will be About Over Wolfing And so here it is as I promised 💯
360WaveProcess I have coarse hair as you can see in my profile & I over wolf my hair started over curling ina front so I lost some progress but I can wolf for about 8 or 9 weeks no longer then that 💯
I mean I'm not trying to throw any shades but I recently started back waving and your the only one that been the most help bro I just watched the video when you started over from a skin head and explained how your hair was already trained and everything and I appricate your content that you have bring to us over the years keep up the good work and I'm look forward in getting my some of your produced soon
From my perspective, It's very easy to overwolf in the summer than it is in the winter because the humidity causes your hair to overcurl. It's honestly annoying. As a coarse haired waver, I normally go for 10 to 15 weeks during the winter but during the summer, I can only wolf for 5 to 6 weeks before my waves become a nightmare to manage.
Spot on bro. If you want to wolf longer, don’t go back to a 1.5 when you get a cut. Get a 2 or 2.5 so you can go right back into wolfing, but avoid over-curling.
I'm a coarse hair waver and I wolf 7-8 weeks. My last wolf was 12 weeks without any shape ups or taper in between. I didn't experience any over curling. You couldn't tell I hadn't gotten a cut for over 3 months. I legit had a afro and it was always laid.
@@gabrielmoore6099 na g. Got braids now 😂😂😂. But I had a durag on 95% of the time n wash n style really helped lay it down. I didn’t even double compress
Whats up man I'm new and just got ur brush two days ago just want to say thanks man I love the brush and I got my son one too. Can u wash out ur waves like I said I just start and when I hit a week I wash my hair now it's seem like I'm starting over... Thanks in advance
I’m a coarse hair waver but I can comfortably wolf upwards to 8 or so weeks without over curling. At first I experienced some difficulties with over curling and definition loss. But I learned that with combing regular (every 2 days) then laying my hair back down with a soft medium brush and a bag.
This on point. Im a 3c and I can't really go past 10-12 weeks without feeling like I'm losing my definition. I think 4-6 is perfect. My boy is a 4b and when he go that far if he dont brush often he loses his definition fast.
*I like that light blue brush(head nod). I can't stand to 'wolf'. When my hair gets too long and doesn't want to lay down, I'm off to the shop to get a trim at minimum. I never had a problem with locking in my waves. I usually get a cut with 1 and start from there. I just apply a pomade and brush the hell out of it then durag and Boo Boo cap over that for compression. Great video for those who don't know.*
Hey Big dog Can you drop a vid on when to use what brush type ( hard, med, soft,) during your wave process and for how long before you need to switch. I'm having a hard time knowing when to use hard and when to use med on my course hair and how long i should brush with each before using the other. why do i need both as oppose to just a hard or just a med? is it soley based of wolfing time?
Maybe a guide to how long to brush with each, in what order during a session/or wolfing. Examples of what i'm asking are things like... start with blah for roughly blah long, then use blah after...or only use blah during this step in your process and once you reach this point start using blah from then on out....or us both all the time starting with this then use this. Are there phases in which you should stop using a type. Just thought i'd try to clarify my question as much as possible.
Well, since you said let me know in the comments section if your wrong. Coarse, Medium, and Fine are hair textures. Straight, Wavy, Curly, Coily and Kinky are hair types. 1a-1c = Straight hair, 2a-2c = Wavy hair, 3a-3c = curly hair, 4a-4c = coily-kinky hair. Hair type defines how loose or tight your curls are. Hair texture determines the thickness of your hair. Most people with 5-6 Waves get mistaken for straight hair when they really have a Wavy hair type. Real straight hair wavers only get like 3-4 waves, Hair Texture, and Hair type are not Synonymous.
Yeah u right that's why its impossible for someone to have medium coarse hair can't have 2 types of hair textures that's like me saying I have straight/coarse hair or straight/medium texture hair you can have different hair types but not hair textures mine is 4c
I have a very important question, when do I use the different types of brushes? Soft brush for Fresh cuts Medium Brush for wolfing Hard brush for Fully grown hair? Plz answer cause I feel like I'm using the wrong brushes at the wrong times and end up hurting my hair after a fresh cut or while it's not really wolfing with the hard brush.
Yea that’s a overwolf 3wp coarse hair wavers should wolf 4-6 weeks medium hair textures should wolf 6-10 weeks And straight hair textures should wolf 10-12 weeks 12+ depend on how straight or stubborn the hair is if u wolf over 4-6 weeks 3wp that’s overwolfing and u could loose progress and that’s tips for beginners
giving a time frame to wolf is bogus as hell its obviously different curl patterns of “coarse” hair. some ppl hair grow slower and/or is thinner than normal. right now i’ve been wolfing since january 30th and i have “coarse” hair but my curl pattern is a 4a so i haven’t experienced any over curling in my hair at all..
I give up on waving bro my hair is extra happy and when I train it the sides don't lay but the top and back does can someone reply and help me please !!!! the sides are a disgrace
I’ve been waving for a year, and I didn’t start taking it seriously until last summer. I did a 11 week wolf and I’m a coarse hair waver. I felt like it was ok. I just finished a 12 week wolf rn.... I didn’t feel like I overwolfed tbh. Maybe my curls were too tight. But I did see progress as I wolfed longer
At first I thought u was ment to wolf 4-8 So I wolfed for 4-8 then I realise I was ment to get a cut 2 weeks ago I wolfed for 6 weeks and then I saw really good results my back Nd side came in more
I've been wolfing with coarse hair for 2 months (July august, about to be 3) and since beginning of September my hair looks like a toupe because my hairline sticks up and under it looks like it's gone and I'm hella afraid to cut it, I tried looking the shit up but NO ONE ELSE seems to have this same problem. Some people say it might not come back after the cut, or it depends on how the barber cuts it, idk.
@@devon5113 I got the cut and though my hairline was at the same spot it always was, it still sticks up once I wolf since then. Just get a low cut from the barber you normally go to I feel like he knows your hair better
Use the medium brush when the softy is no longer beneficial to laying your hair down. Medium brushes will give you more pull than a softy for longer hair lengths.
Coarse hair waver wolf for 4weeks tops and I always get progress on the sides💯 when I wolf my waves look nappy until I get a cut then They be spinning like crazy but that’s cause I don’t use grease or none of that stuff cause in the long run it’s bad for ur hair🤷🏿♂️💯
I just started bacc getting my waves And I think imma course hair waver or medium because my hair only lays down wit a soft brush when I use a hard brush it like put my hair up then I gotta use the soft brush to lay it bacc down
I’m coarse & I wolfed for 7 weeks & it was only my second wolf coming off a 4 week Edit; i barely brush to begin with I’m talking 20-40 mins a day/skip days sometimes & it over curled a bit then I did the wash n style & it brought them back in then I cut it
As y’all know, All Week on my Instagram & TH-cam Story, I’ve been saying that my video this week will be About Over Wolfing And so here it is as I promised 💯
