I personally think CPU matches are an awesome, simple concept, but I personally think the 1v1 matches drag on a bit too long. I say have those at 3 stock and keep them on Battlefield and Omega, UNLESS it happens to be on a stage that is otherwise viable for competitive like Small Battlefield, Final Destination, Battlefield, Smashville, Town and City, Yoshi's Island Brawl, Fountain of Dreams, Kalos League, Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2, and all that. 8 player fights could have 5 lives, though, and hell, throw in Final Smash meter or Smash Balls if you want.
@@ssbucpuversus5361 I don't know the opinion of the majority of those who share my personal sentiment, and I just discovered this channel, and understand there is a casual audience that likes to watch these sorts of matches, so I would find it unfair if I was to become a buzzkill should you make good on the sentiment and the majority complains. If you don't feel comfortable going through with my idea, you don't have to. If the above stated is the worst case scenario, I'd say it may or may not be worth a shot. If people say they liked the 5-stock format better, then regress to the 5-stock.
@@Pooper Late reply, but yeah I like watching them on the Omega stages. I do that on the Wii-U and I don't really have an interest to play Ultimate, since I played with the Wii Remote on Smash 4 and sadly not compatible with the Switch. But still, it's fun seeing how much the AI has improved, especially for the weak CPUs in Wii-U like Little Mac, Megaman, Villager and such who use their abilities so much better now. :)
