Great video. Very informative without without all of the extra fluff that so many other video makers add. My wife and I have been diamond for quite a while now. Next week will be our 60th Carnival Cruise. We've sailed on other Cruise Lines but Carnival just seems to be a good fit for us.
We've sailed a lot of lines too Larry, but we will always LOVE Carnival! 60th Cruise! CONGRATS! Maybe we will see you on one someday, and if you see u be sure to say hello!
@@thecruiseworld Royal Caribbean's Casino Royale offers are way ahead of the others. Their TIER year is 3/31 to 4/1 and if you maintain 2,500 points per year, you will be getting one to two complimentary offers per month (In the past these offers would contain as much as 50 sailings) and each year you get a TIER 3 offer which would be a complimentary interior cabin on any sailing of your choice that is less than 11 days and does not fall on a Holiday like Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year etc.

Hey Deb, I know it can get confusing with the levels and milestones. With the VIFP levels, if you hit day 75 at anytime during your cruise you will start the cruise at Platinum. The 75 milestone is when you take your 75th Carnival cruise, regardless of how many days you've sailed. Hopefully this answered your question 🙂
Hi Deb, the Milestones are based on the number of actual Cruises you have taken--not the number of days at Sea. For instance, I am about to hit 75 days in the VIFP club which elevates me to Platinum VIFP, but I am only at Cruise #12 towards my first Milestone, which is at 25. LOL, I'm still only half way to the first "milestone"...😭
Awesome Grandma Jackie! We are set to sail this weekend and we have been waiting so long for that next cruise to make Platinum! When are you sailing again?
Hey Masta Panda! Thanks for watching. If you are only 4 days short of Gold, you WILL be Gold when you board a 7 day cruise! Have fun, and let us know how it goes!
Platinum, but we got it the old way in 2012. By 2012 we had 8 cruises with Carnival since us starting to sail on her ships since 2000. Back then on your 10 cruise with them you became Platinum but that ended 12/31/2012, so we stuck in our 9th cruise a small 3 night cruise Dec. of 2012 cause also back then it didn’t matter the length of the cruise either, it counted as a cruise. So when we took our 10th cruise in 2013 we were Platinum. Been Platinum ever since. One of those perks ain’t all that. Used the Landry service in 2013. Come to find out they only use hot water to wash all the clothes and some of our clothes came back shrunk and we couldn’t wear them anymore. So since then we have never used that free service. Also they make those free drinks a drink at brunch so you might forget about it. Been a few times where we had to forfeited those drinks cause we forgot about it or that we didn’t that coupon that we got on embarkation day with a lot of other papers. Or that we lost it cause we accidentally throw them away among those many papers you get in a day coming through your cabin door for the week. Usually we would use ours on the last day and there has been times that I searched high and low in the cabin for those pieces of paper never to be found them. So now we use them at brunch on the first day at sea, my Husband sticks them in his wallet when we get them so we have them for sure. The party’s are fun. Get there as early as you can and make sure you sit on the Aisle seat in the back so the waiters with all those free drinks and appetizers pass by you so first so you can flag them down to stop as they pass by. If your down in the front or in the middle of an aisle you might only get served once and since those party’s are only 45 minutes long you should take full advantage of those freebies. Hopeful by the end of 2024 we will be Diamond.
One more five day, cruise or seven day cruise, and I will be gold status 😀 Birthday cruise was wonderful the B2B experience was awesome Transitioning to the new cruise was effortless. All we had to do was show up in the dining area and a representative from Carnival took us to customs on the gang Way and we were escorted back on the ship with our new Sail&sign cards. Would definitely recommend trying a back to back if anyone is up to Trying it Great way to extend your vacation.
i just booked a cruise that total for the plane tickets and spending it on irl total it was 2500 for 4 people.. THATS NOT BAD XD carnival is the cheapest I've ever seen just for putting ur email ETC LOL
I was wondering if I create an account online if they can link my name to it I've been on 14 cruises but they have all been with my grandparents email so I'm not sure how to link it
Hi Jacob, thanks for watching. Here's a couple options to try. One is to go the online route, as you were thinking of doing. Once you sign up, there's a spot to claim past cruises. Have your VIFP number available as well as all the dates of your previous sailings, and submit those to Carnival. If the online approach doesn't work, I would contact Carnival directly and explain your situation to them. Best of luck!
Hey Ellis, thanks for watching! If you have cruised with Carnival before, you're automatically enrolled. You can activate your account at www.carnival.com/VIFP. If you haven't sailed with Carnival yet, you can join prior to cruising at www.carnival.com/VIFP ~ Steph
Wow! From my calculations, I only have about ninety thousand dollars in cruises on carnival to take and I will get a free bottle of water, and someone to do my laundry on the ship. This is a no brainer, it will pay for itself! .........Wait....
I get it... and yes, loyalty programs aren't what they used to be.. but for me, I don't cruise for the loyalty bennies, I cruise because it is what I love to do... hitting those new tiers is just a nice result of that and anything extra is, well, extra... thanks for watching!
LOL, I assure you she wasn't being held hostage... and thanks for watching--I hope you enjoyed the information about the VIFP program. This was Stephanie's first solo video in front of the camera and that can be something that takes some getting used to... Happy Cruising!

Nice! I've heard and seen a lot of great casino offers from fellow cruisers. I may have to go spend some time in the casino on our next cruise :)
@@stephaniemcclure7931 Right now we have 14 offers from Carnival. Mostly short cruises, so we will wait for better offers.
I think we will try our hand a bit in the Casino next time out...

Great job and information for those who may be unfamiliar with VIFP!! We are currently on Gold Status!!
Thanks Blane. We've been flirting with Platinum with every canceled cruise. LOL
Thanks for watching, Blane! We will be Platinum as soon as we can step foot back on a Carnival ship... which is hopefully soon!
Great info Stephanie!

Thanks Stephanie. If your 75th cruise is three days into your cruise will you still qualifier for the 75th recognitions?
