During my NSU-MBA program ( 2013-2015), I had faced the similar issue. Then, I figured out that teachers who were designated to teach accounting subjects, were the fulltime academicians from Dhaka University or Jahangirnagar University. And, most of them were weak in speaking English. Again, i had realised that specially the accounting department of NSU has shortage of skilled professors. Subsequently, your in hand video is the proof that NSU is still having problems in their accounting studies .
u r lucky that you entered here for MBA (2yrs), not for BBA (4-6 yrs). I graduated from NSU (BBA) and guess what? I had thousands of similar + multi-dimensional experiences. For example- in one marketing related course, the faculty was explaining like "in BD, now more than 90% people use iPhone, who use android phone now-a-days". I was like - whaaaaaat!!! How many % of NSUers use iPhone, let alone whole BD. That much real life market knowledge (+ common sense) the faculty had!
Thank you so much Tanvir, this was eye-opening for me. I got into IUB and was deciding between shifting over to NSU or trying to go abroad because I've seen similar issues here in this university as well. Turns out, NSU isn't much better, and I haven't seen your type of content anywhere else. @@unlikeavlog It is, especially in public institutions, where there is zero accountability, the staff act like absolute thugs. Had you faced this same issue in DU you'd have been held behind for year after year, running (physically) from office A to office B to office C and then back to A.
That is great content. I am a graduate student from an American University and have had the opportunity to work as a TA and instructor. I can assure you that similar kinds of problems exist all over the world. I have seen a lot of tenured professors who simply reduce the course material and give everyone an A just to avoid hassles. Many Asian professors lack significant communication skills. I have also seen professors who take these kinds of issues personally. I did my undergrad at the best public university in Bangladesh. Instructors' or management's responses to students were often lacking (or non-existent) about 50% of the time. This type of content should raise concerns over the quality of education and instructors' responsibility and begin a productive discussion, at least in Bangladesh.

This 'I’m older, so I’m better' attitude, particularly prevalent among those born before the 90s, hinders progress and growth.

Are you still at NSU? I Just got admitted into NSU in the spring 2024 session. I wish I could know the faculty member's name or initials, so that I can avoid getting into her section in my next semester.
If you compare nsu with bd's other uni (both private and public) than i need to say nsu is better but not the best cz almost all the top uni of bd have the same problem and the management of the public uni are worser.
I recently got admitted into law, East West University(also got scholarship alhamdulillah ).But i'm thinking about getting into North South University. Is that gonna be a better idea? Disadvantages of EWU
Can't say. I only have experience with the MBA department. I also don't have any experience with other universities in Bangladesh so I have nothing to compare it with.
The superlatives are very debatable. Why? Not a justification of their actions BUT if you think that this is enough to call them the worst, then you have no idea what could happen at certain unis in Bangladesh. Also, I don't know the full details of your experience and you're definitely a victim. However, you yourself agreed that the problem was with her English but you still went ahead and took a jab at her basic accounting knowledge in that mail - which is rightfully offensive. I understand that it was a reaction to their behaviour (incompetence or lack of humility in accepting the problem or just pure laziness) but that was avoidable. Anyways, the video was of benefit. Thank you for raising this issue. I wish I could do the same without having to face repercussions from my teachers and from my classmates. Jazakumullahu Khayr. Ameen.
If you're telling me that NSU is NOT one of the worst universities in the world, then God bless you. Also, if you're going to comment something like this then I suggest you pay more attention to what's being said in the video. Anyway, thank you for your comment.

I think the lecturers and professors of reputed colleges like Notre Dame, Residential ,Adamjee Cantonment,St. Joseph, Holy Cross,Viqarun Nisa are more skillful, knowledgeable and competent than these so called A grade private university faculties. ( Don't know about the public) But I heard in public- you have to do more self learning than private because lack of effort from faculties are prevalent in public. I think my account principles faculty was very lacking in skill ( Though she was a graduate from Kobe University) than my college teachers of accounting course. Yes there is no lacking in English speaking or English related term from her but she was not skillful in teaching. You can't be a good teacher though you were a great student. But the accounting teachers of our college were great. It's because they had lots of experience tutoring( tuitions, coaching). I think you can't be a good faculty with only english speaking. If our college teachers from reputed college refine their English, they can be a great varsity faculty. I think the most of the knowledge I gained is from my college, that's why I think the lessons I get from varsity is nothing new and not par to my college teachings.

If its was any other institution other than nsu, i dont know what would have happened to u

Hi bhaiya. I am badly in a need of a good advice from you. I was a medical aspirant but unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the public medicals. Now I want to study Pharmacy. But I can’t choose in between BRAC and NSU. What should I do pls help me out bhaiya. Today the results of brac was published and I got selected for pharmacy there. Nsu exam is on April last. I am very tensed. Pls reply bhaiya which one will be better??
From my video you already know what I think of NSU. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you which is better between the two as I have not studied in Brac University.
Bro, I am HSC 22 batch. Due to illness I have to stay away from studies for two years. I want to go abroad for higher education but my family says to finish honors from any private university and then do masters abroad. Now my question to you is whether I should take admission in any university outside or complete my honors in the country? give advice
I would also suggest that you complete your honors in the country and then go abroad for a Master's degree.
Bhaiya I am from English Medium background. I am currently in my final year of A Levels and I want to study Computer Science in University. Due to financial reasons, abroad study isn't a viable option unless I earn a large amount of scholarship. My parents want me to join public universities in Bangladesh but for this I would need to waste 1 year as I am not from national curriculum background. Can you please give advice on whether it will be worth it to waste 1 year and still be uncertain about me getting my subject of interest or should I just join private unis?
My suggestion for you would be to enroll into a private university rather than wasting a year.
Okay If NSU isn’t the best university here then as a student where should I go then?
That's entirely up to you.
underrated channel
Thank you!
Bhaiya. Ekta off-topic question korlam...
Ami Northern Univeristy theke BA in English complete korte chacchi.
Eta ki amar future e higher studies or job pawar khetre kono bad impact felte pare?
It really depends on the kind of career you're trying to build for yourself.
can you please make a detailed video of how you got into the university of melbourne?
Honestly, there's not much to talk about. I contacted a study abroad consultancy and they basically did all the work. I just had to provide all the necessary documents.
Exactly! I experienced that first-hand.
Are you still at NSU?
I Just got admitted into NSU in the spring 2024 session.
I wish I could know the faculty member's name or initials, so that I can avoid getting into her section in my next semester.
SmR1, if I remember correctly.
If you compare nsu with bd's other uni (both private and public) than i need to say nsu is better but not the best cz almost all the top uni of bd have the same problem and the management of the public uni are worser.
That may be true.
I recently got admitted into law, East West University(also got scholarship alhamdulillah ).But i'm thinking about getting into North South University. Is that gonna be a better idea? Disadvantages of EWU
I can't say because I don't know about EWU. But you might be disappointed with NSU as well. So it may not be worth switching. The rest is up to you.
Bhaiya, Is Nsu Cee A Good Choice?
Currently I'm studying at NSU I faced the same thing sadly NSU is getting the worst day by day
I'm sorry to hear that.
Hey nice vid. Would really love to know why did you plan to comeback to Bangladesh for your masters.
Thank you! Maybe someday I'll make a video talking about that.
Viya amr nsu ta BBA te recently chances peyechi...But i can't understand which subject i should choose for my Career. I want to be a banker..plz viya help me..
You can choose any subject within BBA. I would suggest you to study what you're interested in.
Should have watched this before getting into this sh*t University. It's such a mess and I can't wait to get out of here. I'll never not regret it .
I know how it feels.
NSU Valo na ?
bro that's happens in every university of bangladesh ... . From top rank to low rank universities ... Mangement contains a lot of ego...
That may be true but it's no justification. Let's not normalize it and raise our voices against it.
I feel you should've opted for IBA instead.
Why is that?
I really liked your story telling vaia
Thank you so much!
Bro this is common in most of the universities in bd
Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that it's wrong.
Nsu is the best in bd. But when you compare against top / world class universities, then its shit.. specifically management, just like mentioned
When the best our country can offer is shit on a global scale, then that is the biggest disappointment for our education system.
@unlikeavlog yes bhaiya. And I completed my bachelor's from here and I regret that the environment pulled me back from growing further. Unnecessary pressure and bs management that is not student friendly at all.
@@marufurrahmanabir9642 I feel you.
Thanks for the Warning ⚠️ I didn't get into DU (University of Dhaka) due to 1 number.. so I thought NSU BBA is the next best option for me Here. My admission Date is coming up in 2 Days & I'm not quite sure if it'll be worth Graduating from Here. Do you think I should enroll here or should I take on BUP.
I can only share my personal experiences which I already did. The rest is upto you.
Bro...
Welcome to Bangladesh

very good brother, so have yu started your business yet ? Zajakallah.
Thank you! Yeah, you could say that.
Yeah I think if I studied in bd I would have earned a degree in gala gali because I wouldn’t tolerate dumb professors like that.
What I don't get is: How are they so dumb? All of these people have higher education from abroad.
I've been thinking for a while now that the education system is a big and elaborate scam.
In my knowledge No.1 private uni. Is IUT/Brac
Maybe, but NSU always brags about being number one.
Vaiya nsu economics kmn hbe for better career?
It really depends on the kind of education you want.
not only NSU , I think the rest of the universities have the same kind of Faculty members
Maybe, but I can only speak from my personal experience.
@@unlikeavlog I can also speak from my personal experiences , which is even scarier than this , Kudos to you for speaking up properly with proper evidence
Thank you!
BBA course ki valo hbe?
Can't say since I have not done BBA.
Couldn’t help saying (since you repeatedly termed NSU as #1 ranked Pvt Uni), , that as per QS & Times Higher Education ranking (Most Recognised worldwide), , NSU never ranked #1 amongst Pvt. Unis in Bd for last 10 yrs, , It was rather Brac University that always took the cake, , that’s y wasn’t surprised hearing your experience, , Anyway Cheers & Gd-Luck.
Thank you!

MANAGEMENT PROBLEM 8:20
Yes.
life is so short and uncertain, so nobody bothers about your career or what you want to do
That's why it's so important that we take care of ourselves even more.
NSU MBA isn't the best in Bangladesh
I see.
First and foremost thing that i can clearly say, u r just totally pulling off ur frustration in this video. I have watched ur video three times and u were just describing an ill treatment of a faculty towards u and then bashing the whole system. Not even a single logic except this to talk shit about the whole management. There are teachers like this in every institution and the education system is responsible for that.
Before pointing fingers towards a university, u should learn more about the education system of this country.
After all those shits that have happened to u, u still got A. If its was any other institution other than nsu, i dont know what would have happened to u
Thank you for your concern. :)
You should go back to school and fix your English first before commenting. Don't go to NSU though lmao 😂😂
I regret getting into NSU. Waste of money.
Not only NSU , the scenario is exactly the same in this entire country . People here will never take accountability of their actions and faults rather stoop down to kill the critique to silence him nomatter how constructive the criticism is .
Yeah. That's the sad part.
I understand your thoughts about this uni. However, you need to fix up your English grammar (with regards to the emails send)
Please help me fix my grammar.
Nice speaking
