Thanks so much to everyone that explained the songs real title is called 'Under the Mt. Fuji'. As MM Tong says "Using the metaphor of looking the Mt. Fuji that it's for love is not ownership. It's time to let go. No one can own Mt. Fuji" this adds a powerful new dimension to my understanding of the song!

The reason they had to use Love transfer, the name of mandarin version of the song, is because the day of airing this is a national mourning day whilst the song's name is related to Japan.
This is a rather late response, but you are right in feeling that the song comes across rather upbeat despite the title: the song is indeed a sad song about an ending relationship because the boyfriend is being transferred by work, but there is always a warmth in Zhou Shen's voice that somehow brightens up the song. Maybe it's because even though Zhou Shen has experienced plenty of negativities in his life, he has never really been involved in a romantic relationship, yet, so that could be an area he can't quite fully grasp at the moment. But no hurry!

这首歌原名(富士山下)爱情转移是普通话版的名字原唱者是香港歌手陈奕迅( Eason )两个版本都是他唱，
电视台因一些原因把(富士山下)改作爱情转移两首歌的內容都说爱情Jason 你可以找来听听，
但我偏爱粤语版的歌词，作词者林夕(香港很出色的作词者)他说过爱情就像富士山它永远都在那里，
你不去寻找它它不会来找你，你只能一直徘徊在它的外面而永远触摸不到它的內在，
这首词形容爱情的確比较抽象不要说您是外国人就算同是中国人也不一定能完全明白词里的表达。
是真的不容易埋解，作為母語是廣東話的人，我不去看解釋也不太明他想表達甚麼。
我最中意"誰能憑愛意將富士山私有"呢句, 以前無細想, 呢家聽翻, 呢句真心寫盡情侶間最大矛盾的根本. 或者可以講所有關係最不該都係以愛為名的佔有.
这首歌是在讲男方和女方分手时的劝解。虽然周深和李克勤的声线高低不同，但他们不是以男女对唱的角度来唱的，而是都是以男方的视角，来劝说女方要放下他们的这段感情。
這歌曲調可以，詞有部分真的寫得不好，求押韻而押韻，李是K歌唱法當然有技巧，周有幾個字唱了大陸口音，這歌兩人聲調真的不夾，聽不到歌中故事感情，獨唱可能好些，無須把他們捧上天花板！周是我喜歡國內歌手之一，不喜勿插！

the original Cantonese lyric is really well written
翻译不错，就是有些地方省略掉了，比如“苦心选中今天车你回家”里面的苦心，可能中文的一两个字表达的意思很深，也不好翻译，苦心翻译成 painstakingly?

Unfortunately the performance date of this song was the tragic day for China, so decided to use the mandarine version name Love Transfer; otherwise this cantonese version they collaborated s/b Mt.Fuji. The original singer is EasonChan, the song was so popular back then in HK. ZhouShen sang this song in his C-929 concert; he picked this song to collaborate with HackenLee and WOW they harmonized it so well!
Hannah H it was a tragic day for China, the Nanjing massacre, that’s why they change the name, also could not broadcast the other recorded song because it was sung in Japanese.

Actually the name of this Cantonese song is 《富士山下》due to some reason they cannot use this name on the day of performance, therefore they use the Chinese name of the Chinese version《爱情转移》
They actually collaborated another song "突如其来的爱情”. It was the theme song of a popular Japanese drama "Tokyo Love Story" [东京爱情故事 ] ,likely to be broadcast at the final of [我们的歌2］. They will be singing in Japanese !!

haha. Jack, this song is written by Cantonese. Even both Cantonese and Mandarin are using the same Chinese character. However, the grammar is different and some expressions are different.
