Manoj Das (born 1934) is an award & winning Indian author who writes in Odia and English. In year of 2000, Manoj Das was awarded with Saraswati Sanman. He was awarded Padma Shri inthe year of 2001, the fourth highest Civilian Award in India for his contribution in the field of Literature & Education. Kendra Sahitya Akademi has bestowed its highest award.
I salute the great Oriya writer, Manoj Das. His creations are very wide. He has excelled in all the formats of Oriya literature like short stories, essays and novel. He is also an equally great writer in English. In short He is the pride of Odisha. Namaste ❤❤

Monoj das, not a name only also a different world!
Oirya is one languase that languase not only laguase it knowledge of one unit that like english also one unit of knowlege that close to each other.knowlede is knowlege that may be english may be oriya exmple shreema was english foren ledy but shreeaurobinda was oriya that indien.Knowledge not compare in laguage. all laguase is unit of knowlege.

Manoj Das is not only a name but also a manuscript. I have read him and listened him and I conclude, sorry to say not conclde, because Manoj Das cannot be cocluded, still I feel he takes silly things in day-to-day life in humorous manner to rectify people's attitude. Moreover to say, he is the sound or voice of inner realm of heart. The eternity is exposed by his writings and he, I think, discard the pompous and superfluous maintaining of life style. Superfluous, in this sense I say, as he says in this interview 'the father proudly says that my son or daughter started his or her schooing from English medium, so it is uneasy for him or her to speak clear odia.' Right.
It is the condition of Odisha. Normally English medium shows our status. So learned people hankers how his child becomes expert in English rather than odia....
