i had a similar situation where the neutrals charred up in my ATS. The connections loosened up and resistance increased. my suggestion is that RV owners add an annual check on their wiring. open up panels, look behind doors. etc
Yes, I agree, also the 30 amp outlet at the power pedestal is damaged but I need to talk to the park owner to see if she will pay for it, I'm pretty sure that's what caused this in the first place and I don't want to add that to Allen's bill. If his slide wasn't in the way I would have at least peeked inside the box already. I checked the connections the first time I was there and all Neutrals were tight.
You were commenting on those power boxes being on the floor, instead of up on the walls, as they are in houses. This is because there is no spare space on the walls in the RV, but there is down on the floor.
All the neutral wires "burnt up". Sounds like a major short circuit situation, by-passing the breakers. Next stage is burning down the RV because of the short circuit.

Very true, the walls are only 2" to 3" deep.
