I love Toru Furuya and his work, Amuro Ray what made me fall in love with Gundam. But what he did is unforgivable, if it's just a normal affair I couldn't care less. But he not only assaulted her, he took her phone when she called the police and forced her to abort the baby. He is a great voice actor, but a horrible human being.
I forgive i guess, thats really the only thing you could do, people go through hard times, and i see that people can actually change, at least i hope. he did own up to his actions and its all completely his fault. But people can change..

I managed to watch SEED FREEDOM in theaters in US and I couldn't be more grateful. I can't wait for it to come to streaming so I can watch it again because I desperately want to watch the movie again. I haven't felt like this for a movie since Top Gun Maverick.

Nah, Funkos have a very specific look to them. It's harder to identify stuff like a Zaku, but a Gundam has specific eye-shapes, even for the SDs, so the Funko version is pretty darn recognisable, and looks just as ick as other Funkos.

Gallows humor is a common way to deal with tragedy or bad happenings. Not everyone's thing but eh. I do feel bad for his wife and the woman though.

SRW tends to use voice banks for those they can't use anymore. There's still using Honda's line for Puru despite her having a new VA for years for instance.

Nah, Funkos have a very specific look to them. It's harder to identify stuff like a Zaku, but a Gundam has specific eye-shapes, even for the SDs, so the Funko version is pretty darn recognisable, and looks just as ick as other Funkos.
People trying to make "jokes" about the Furuya situation are disgusting. The man is NOT Amuro Ray or any other character. He is a real person who did REALLY bad things. As a fan, it is hard to accept, but I have no sympathy for him.

The Toru Furuya situation as a whole is quite screwed up to say the least, not going to go into further detail as it's too much of a headache to deal with. Leaving that matter to those more qualified to handle it (legally and otherwise).
