I gotta say. I main jungle. But i watch your vids to keep myself polished on solo since i consider it my secondary. I've learned how to play gods the right way in solo, primarily Achilles and Osiris who I've always been inconsistent with. And I've tried both the last few times I've had to solo and popped off. You deserve all the appreciation that you get you're truly a great mind at this game

@@BasedChadman No, Arthur was/is overrated.Yes he is strong, but anti-heal always made him manageable.Achilles has steroids, more mobility and an execute that keeps him relevant in every stage of the game.And aa cancels.And better scalings (before nerfs)
@@Tony132GR Arthur has aa cancels too and was a bigger lane bully in his prime. Don't forget his ult used to deal true damage and generate a lot faster. He was an early game monster, and we saw a lot of his potential during SPL. Achilles was overall a bigger threat at all stages of the game, but Arthur was a dominant force too. I'd say he's at a balanced spot now for sure, but certainly not on release.
Theres only a handful of gods that me personally i just sigh at having to face them. Achilles, sobek, xing tian, ganesha, hercules, horus. Other than ganesha these gods can solo all your carries late game. Ganesha is just the king of shutting someone down. Edit: honorable mention to vamana, now that his ult has received 3buffs within the last year. He can literally do w.e he wants when his ult is up.
It seems with the exception of Achillies, Horus and Ganesha, these gods you mention utilize their tower for damage by throwing you under it or by keeping you there through cc, if that is the case may I suggest giving up lane pressure to remain at a safer distance from their tower? You can apply this also with the other three as they will want to dash at you to get damage off at one point or another and if you're under tower or closer to it, they will sometimes accidentally take a hit. you may be playing to far forward all the time. Which in some match ups is great, means you're winning pressure, but in others it means death. Dont forget laning phase isn't everything, and sometimes you'll just have to sacrifice pressure to purely farm and defend the tower, then come back in late team fights, or maybe your jungler can gank when they're gaining pressure on you leading to them hopefully dying and you winning lane after all.
@@garrettf1412 there is the threat of getting plucked or pushed into tower. But just as effectively you could be plucked or pulled out of your own tower. Giving up lane pressure is a must for getting ccd out of your own tower isnt nearly as bad as ccd into theres. But honestly no sobek and herc have enough base dmg to kill anyone for the most part. Same with xing however his ability to kill anyone i the highest. His 1 having 12% hp DoT is remarkable. Plus most of the mentioned gods especially herc and sobek. They can burn your beads all the time the pluck, herc 1 or 2.

Its an opinion more based around the idea that at lvl20 full build a god like xing tian is going to kill your hunter way more efficiently than a khepri. Another example bieng sobek pluck can put you out of position or have a chance at burning your beads on a 10sec cooldown. Which sets u up for that da ji ult or w.e is coming your way next. All the towers and cheeky cheese plays these gods can do such as herc lifting you and stunning you under his tower. Purely situational, and by situational i mean your a dummy for putting yourself in that situation.
Maybe a dumb question, but if you are going to go TP, why not wait to buy it until your first back? That way you still have the option to buy something else if you realize you don't need it.

Blackthorn is ok when your facing magical in either jungle or solo and phisical in the other as a third item depending on who you're facing in lane, typically you really want something that's going to give you sustain like beserkers or glad early, think of blackthorn as some cushion for when you're not sure which prot you'll need next. But yes blackthorn is great for anyone that could benefit from the cooldown mp5 and hp, like wukong. There are just stronger pick ups that give you these stats, blackthorn is just a health pick up verses a protection pick up. I want to add though that if you're facing gods with executions, like an Achillies solo Ao Kuang jungle it is a poor choice as stacking hp allows them to hit the execute threshold easier, so you'll want to stack straight protections in these match ups, and try to avoid alot of hp.
I'm adding an additional comment to clarify that I dont approve of glad or beserkers against magical solo lane opponents, there are other items that are good for these match ups, but again blackthorn could take slot 3 when the situation calls for it.

Ik there was way more bans that’s probably were stronger but Belair and SK were definitely comfortable and used to the Achilles pick? Idk I was thinking that for a while or maybe when u guys had first pick u take it away from them. But I definitely understood there were other picks that were valued way higher than Achilles
That was intentional, when you reach that level of skill you anticipate these sort of things. Achilles ult has a long windup, and any decent players will use Osiris's immunity frames to avoid the execute, he intentionally ulted into tower expecting osiris to ult the direction he was facing, he didn't miss the ult, it was intended. I do similar things, e.g. when playing rat and if they have blink i anticipate the blink (people usually call relics so i know if it's on cooldown) and ult in front of them anticipating the blink, or if i'm playing scylla and in my ult, most experienced players just run into you expecting you to aim the ult behind them. I did this to a group of GM's/Masters queued together and got a triple kill because they just kept walking into me thinking they were being smart.
Hope you see this fine but I’ve been running set solo starting with tier 2 hydras wondering what you think, it’s been working well so far so much pressure

You normally get glad shield before boots against physical solo laners. What do you get instead if they are magical?
Usually Runeforge(?) Shield. If i have the name right, its the one that reduces enemy magical dmg by 50. That or Ancile.
