Just wanted to say thank you Marcel, I've been drawing since I was a kid but never understood perspective and other various techniques in art but your tutorials are so much fun and easy to understand that I'm proud to say in that last few months I've gotten better and better. Keep up the good work.
I'm back at drawing after years of pausing and searched for tutorials to help me get back into it again and these are amazing, fun and so easy to follow!
I’m currently working on my portfolio for university and I was struggling to draw one of the pieces, cuz it has forced top down perspectives. Your videos have helped me so much literally in 10 min I managed to learn how to draw forced perspective I can’t thank you enough 🙏🙏🙏
I clicked for the help. I stayed for that and the laughs. You make learning less tedious and the feeling of becoming better does not feel like just a dream. thank you
Dude thank you for these tutorials, I've been drawing since I was a kid and even got a degree in fine arts but I've never truly got the hang of drawing, watching your videos has helped me get the fundamentals I was missing and I'm already drawing 100x better than I ever have!
I found your channel this morning and I watched your tutorials about body poses, hand and this perspective tutorial, it's surprising how I could see a lot of improvement on my art already. Thank you so much!
Sir, I just discovered your channel and I must say that your way of teaching makes me very eager to learn. I always watch drawing tutorials on 2x speed because I'm very impatient (oops) and while that made me get the gist of the video, it didn't allow me to absorb the information. With your humorous video style, I take my time to listen, understand and digest what you're teaching. Kind of like your favorite college professor sort of thing. Teaching is also an art, and you, sir, are very talented in executing it. Thank you!
I love these tutorials, they're super fun and informative! If it isn't too much too ask, could you do a guide on drawing motion/smear frames? It's something I'm sure a lot of people have trouble drawing properly. (Me included!)
Bro your tutorials are amazing! They really help me out a lot! Your videos definetely need more recognition. And the way you explain your videos by animating and a lot more is really amazing.
The information you provide in these tutorials is really easy to follow and understand the point you are trying to make Also when I see what you draw my reaction is usually "what in the fu- hOW?!" the answer well, time, effort, passion, blood, sweat and tears Seriously though since I stumbled across your channel a few months ago, I have learned heaps and are slowly putting all that knowledge I have learned from you into my own art (even tho I am highly inexperienced) Another fantastic and enjoyable video Mr Sir. Cant wait for the next one : D
Your teaching skills are unparalleled. You've quickly become my go-to channel for art advice. I really hope you reconsider doing more digital art videos in the future. (Photoshop tutorial maybe??) I'm glad to be able to draw like a sir!
I have watching your vids for 4 years, I am literally teaching my friend The same way you teach. I told my friend about you and I still watch it. You are the best master artist (Like ZHC) I've ever seen !!!
i want to sincerely thank you! your videos are awesome and they teach so much; they allow me to grow and become a better artist. i wanna be able to make my own manga some day and your one of the biggest reasons that I've been able to really stick to it and keep consistent.
The first time I watched your video was just to check whether I could improve my anime drawings or not by watching videos on TH-cam.........., but you are really incredible. Now I not only draw anime pics but also started my own manga. THANK YOU ... without you, I could've never recognized my potential .
im a beginner artist and this man has helped me lots! i could barely draw a simple stick man well, let alone a person. I can now somewhat draw good perspectives when using refrence photos, thank you very much Draw like a Sir.
As always, so amazing and super helpful! Perspectives are so important to learn! And you made it so much easier! 😁 Thank you as always for all your hard work and dedication! Wonderful job!
just started going through your videos and making a notebook on all the relevant information you and other Artist on here give for lessons and honestly its already done more for me than my school teachers ever gave.
Everyone loves Marcel... I've literally gotten so much better in my art thanks to you... I always look forward to your videos and so on behalf of all of your subscribers... Thank you.
What I love about your videos is that, even though I am not a beginner artist, you always teach me something new that just blows my mind lmao. I love your channel, Marcel! Thank you so much for making these!!!
I'm so thankful this channel exists, I've been trying too improve my art for... Ever.. So having these simple to understand videos I can watch while on my breaks at work and practice with has been uber helpful. Proko's also pretty good, but I think Marcel's videos are just easier for me to follow along with, especially with his editing style and how he deconstructs things. Granted, I'm still not great, but I did notice a slow improvement in the simple sketches I've been doing in my sketch book.
I mean, I wouldn't mind more digital drawing videos... I'm an aspiring comicist/mangaka (comicist, comicka, comic -- eh idk), and I work almost exclusively digitally. However, you'd be surprised at how many of these tutorials translate to digital so, for anyone like me, just try these techniques and eventually you'll get a feel for how to execute them digitally. Much love to you Sir! You've made me a better artist!
Thanks you for this one. Perpesctive is quite hard to get right every time. After the Inking tutorial, it would be cool to see how to do proportion studies for faces. I can never replicate exactly the appearance of the face of my reference, it always seems off or not the same person.
I love the way u explain things!!Every other drawing tutorial makes it so more difficult with explaining and either draws like stiff poses which makes me feel even more frustrated with my art
