No orphanages near my place take this items. I have asked. They need money for food only.

You are right. But as humans we outgrew, our tastes changes regarding everything we buy and use. As we get older , we totally buy something new, stop using the old ones.
Those old ones need to be decluttered.
This is called as decluttering.
So decluttering should be part of life, since we buy things everyday we go out.
