Barrington Tops and the surrounds is very nice! Just do a little research before you go up there, prepare yourself at Scone or Gloucester before ascending. There is pretty much no mobile coverage up there. We went in hope of seeing some snow but it sadly came down as sleet.
Hi mate, we took a Golf GTI up there in sleet so 4WD technically isn't necessary it's just recommended. Although less scenic coming up from Gloucester is better. Plan ahead as well, there is basically no mobile coverage up there.
Great Video Mate. Did Sydney to Tamworth through this route in Apr 2019 and loved the drive. It was done with an AWD and when we reached the Dingo gate it was closed. We thought it was locked and got worried before a car from the other side opened it.
If there were better music options I would definitely pick them however at the moment i'm trying to clear as much storage for the drives I'm going to get down in the South Coast over 5 days. What sort of music do you like?
very scenic i wanna drive this too sometime

So what is that gate around 15:00 for?
Hi Justin, after a bit of research I think it's to keep dingos out.
It’s the dingo gate. Practically useless against dingoes from what I hear but it’s commonly referenced landmark.

As usual not very good music choice.
