I agree with your mate, Getting the confidence back after many years off the bike is tough... I am older now and more fearful of jumps too, I hope over the next year of riding ind practice I can feel more confidant in my ability and not CRASH when jumping!
We are all learning mate but we will all get there with our passion for the sport....push yourself out of your comfort zone a little bit everytime but still stay within what you think you can pull off ....it's a fine line....you don't want to end up with a serious injury....this is the way I look at things I am no professional by any means....just love to ride and really want to get good
Also watch video's of riders that are getting it right....pause the video and look at their body position and technique....I find this helps me...these people aren't super human beings they have 2 arms and legs same as us they just have the correct technique and confidence in themselves
Hey Darren, me and my friend have been trying to get to the outdoor gym (at 4:46) but we can't find it, could you please help tell me how to get to it from the MTB Trails?
It's the other side of the park kind of hard to explain....from the car park go to the pool follow it all the way around to the right until you see a motorway bridge on your right hand side, go across the motorway bridge and down the other side at the bottom of the hill turn first left I think.... then follow that path all the way until you get to the shop where you rent the bikes....cross over the road... turn left past the crazy golf and you are there
