Great points. My biggest issue is alignment. When I line my putter it’s actually to right of my target. I’ve tried moving my head around but can’t seem to get comfortable I’m lined up correctly. I’m right eye dominant. I finally changed to a putter with no lines and just go with feel. It works better but not the answer. Thanks for the vid. 👍
Great video. For me, the intermediary target and the line on the ball look like they're aimed left at address, so the section of the video on vision makes a ton of sense... all the practice I'm doing with a string line/mirror/ball line is fighting all the practice I'm doing without an alignment aid (where I'm presumably aiming right and compensating left with my stroke). So my vision and alignment are at odds and not gelling with the two types of practice. However, I haven't found any head position at address that stops the intermediary target and line on the ball from looking like they're aimed left. Any suggestions on next steps?
Yes. Learn to trust the line on the ball. Practice with the line. You can trust your vision from behind the ball. Line up the line on the ball with your target and then trust the line. Watch lesson 6.1
@@Artemago Thanks! I was considering giving up on using the line, but you've convinced me to double down on it and to learn to trust it. I guess the corollary is that, as long as I can't get my vision at address to see the line straight (which may be forever), I need to never hit a putt in practice or in play without an alignment aid (line on ball, string line, etc.). Otherwise it'll reinforce the conflict between my vision and my alignment.
Great tip on lagging downhill putts to the uphill side
Great information. You make putting look so easy!
VERY good information. Thank you so much for this!

@StanH315 exactly! Unfortunately it took me years to reach this conclusion
