At the end of the day, she doesn't care how much he's changed. And if it were up to her, she would rather him be the Spencer from before that's how much she hates him. She's acting as a fake martyr for a daughter who never asked her to fight her battles. She's acting as if what happened to Trina happened to her. She's acting as if what happened to Trina happened at Spencer's hands when the TRUE perpetrator is Esme. But Portia is only zeroed in on Spencer which proves that this is all about control for her. With that said, I believe we'll see two different people coming back to Port Charles; especially Trina. You have to keep in mind that one of the barriers to Spencer and Trina was them not connecting physically. They're already connected mentally and emotionally. You add them being physically intimate and that puts them on a whole other level; because now you're messing with territory. She marked him and he marked her. Anybody trying to f*ck with that better watch out. That's Trina's man in every way and Trina is his woman; mind, body and soul. Meanwhile Portia will continue to do what she always does; lie and fake smile her way through it all while continuing to plot behind her daughter's back. Portia in the end will lose big time, because we all know she's gonna do something stupid that will spiral out of control and hurt those around her particularly; Trina. And I do believe Trina will end up pr***ers and Portia won't be a part of it any way. Curtis will have divorced her. I hope she loses everything. 💯 P.S. I do hope after this, Spencer starts to pull back on covering for Portia. Perhaps hearing that his father is alive and choosing not come home will help further that along.This will probably be the one thing that will turn him a bit dark, which in turn will have him clinging to Ace that much more; but also Portia trying to undermine his relationship with Trina may prove dangerous for Portia. Ace and Trina are his family so anyone trying to f*ck with that is gonna have a problem. I keep going back to what Ava said to Portia about underestimating Spencer. I just loved that Spencer planned this trip and booked the room knowing that either way something is going to happen. You see it in his face when he opens the door I remember when Trina went on the trip with Rory both he and she walked into the room and her look alone was like NOPE not going to happen and his look was like yep I see I was wrong about that moving to the next level thought and then it was Cot city for him. I get it she wanted to let them know that she and Spencer arrived in NYC safely, but I kinda wished Trina didn't call Portia. She's already pissed knowing that they were going away together for the weekend I mean calling Joss is one thing because she supports them , unlike Portia. I think that she should have called her dad (Taggert) to let him know she was going out of town for the weekend and she'll call him when she returns ( since she hadn't spoken to him in like forever). Trina kept on looking at the bed ; you can tell she was nervous about what could happen later that night.

She lost any chance at deserving that the minute she started emotionally exploiting, and manipulating Spencer's emotions; and trying to gaslight him by planting seeds of doubt that Trina's not as secure in their relationship as he thought, or that he's somehow unworthy. She tried using triangulation by acting as Trina's mouthpiece the same day she told him that the best thing he could do was to let Trina go. As I've said before, if Spencer's the worst person what is Esme? Because last time I checked, Spencer isn't a narcissistic, sadistic sociopathic sexual predator. Spencer didn't drug anyone. Esme did. Spencer didn't secretly record his friends having sex. Esme did. Spencer isn't responsible for what Esme did. Esme is responsible for what Esme did. She took it upon herself to target Trina out of jealousy, and hatred, because she was losing someone she only saw as a puppet to a woman who saw Spencer as so much more than whatever Esme wanted and needed him to be. It's not that Esme loved Spencer. She loved the idea of controlling Spencer and she enjoyed hurting him and his friends. Just like Portia wants to have ownership over her daughter's life.
Someone asked me recently if I believe Portia would feel differently if this were Rory? And I told them that Rory was nothing but a YES man. And that, she would have accepted him unless he stood up to her in regards to Trina. That's usually how a narcissist operates. They like you, or claim to like and admire you right up until you stand up for yourself.
I'm over Portia and her manipulative and lying ways. I'm sick of her finding nonsensical reasons to hate Spencer. I'm sick of her trying to measure what she did to what she BELIEVED or needs to believe he did in order for her daughter to remain tied to her. She's one sick puppy. At the end of the day, she doesn't care how much he's changed. And if it were up to her, she would rather him be the Spencer from before that's how much she hates him. She's acting as a fake martyr for a daughter who never asked her to fight her battles. She's acting as if what happened to Trina happened to her. She's acting as if what happened to Trina happened at Spencer's hands when the TRUE perpetrator is Esme. But Portia is only zeroed in on Spencer which proves that this is all about control for her.
With that said, I believe we'll see two different people coming back to Port Charles; especially Trina. You have to keep in mind that one of the barriers to Spencer and Trina was them not connecting physically. They're already connected mentally and emotionally. You add them being physically intimate and that puts them on a whole other level; because now you're messing with territory. She marked him and he marked her. Anybody trying to f*ck with that better watch out. That's Trina's man in every way and Trina is his woman; mind, body and soul.
Meanwhile Portia will continue to do what she always does; lie and fake smile her way through it all while continuing to plot behind her daughter's back. Portia in the end will lose big time, because we all know she's gonna do something stupid that will spiral out of control and hurt those around her particularly; Trina. And I do believe Trina will end up pr***ers and Portia won't be a part of it any way. Curtis will have divorced her. I hope she loses everything. 💯
P.S. I do hope after this, Spencer starts to pull back on covering for Portia. Perhaps hearing that his father is alive and choosing not come home will help further that along.This will probably be the one thing that will turn him a bit dark, which in turn will have him clinging to Ace that much more; but also Portia trying to undermine his relationship with Trina may prove dangerous for Portia. Ace and Trina are his family so anyone trying to f*ck with that is gonna have a problem. I keep going back to what Ava said to Portia about underestimating Spencer. So we'll see what happens going forward.

I just loved that Spencer planned this trip and booked the room knowing that either way something is going to happen. You see it in his face when he opens the door I remember when Trina went on the trip with Rory both he and she walked into the room and her look alone was like NOPE not going to happen and his look was like yep I see I was wrong about that moving to the next level thought and then it was Cot city for him. Now when we see our Royal couple walk through the door here Spencer knows and so does Trina that something is going to happen, you can tell that he is thinking "even if she doesn't say she loves me I love her and we are using this bed tonight".

I get it she wanted to let them know that she and Spencer arrived in NYC safely, but I kinda wished Trina didn't call Portia. She's already pissed knowing that they were going away together for the weekend I mean calling Joss is one thing because she supports them , unlike Portia. I think that she should have called her dad (Taggert) to let him know she was going out of town for the weekend and she'll call him when she returns ( since she hadn't spoken to him in like forever). Trina kept on looking at the bed ; you can tell she was nervous about what could happen later that night.
The bed does look kind of gigantic compare to her tiny frame.
