I am such a huge fan of Culoe, been following him since early 2008.
I must say that he does need to reinvent or rather progress a bit from his current level. I don’t think he has evolved for the past 6 or 7 years.
This is because I love the culture and most importantly I love creativity and I am huge fan of his.
Same here. Culoe is too fixated with playing his own songs even when he does not have new music to showcase. So he comes off as very limited when he ought to be great. Shame.

I partially agree with you Lungisa. It's not so much about him reinventing his sound, it has to do with the fact that he has not released a commercial album for a while now since Washa. We've seen a lot of DJ's coming up on the scene since he dropped way back in 2015 (e.g. Pierre Johnson, FKJ Mash etc.) that some people have forgotten about him.
@@zwelimbona2952 bhuti Zweli, Culoe has not recently released a commercial album and I agree with you but just lockdown last year he dropped a few tracks on his souncloud, I don’t know if they are still there but there was hardly any innovation or progression from his previous sound.
Also, I respect his production but as a DJ you are supposed to ‘Disc Jock’ and not necessarily come and play us your old music, which we love but you cannot be doing that for 6 years in a row.
DJying is another way of showing us other sounds and productions you like and appreciate as a DJ, Culoe has basically failed to do that for us.
