    THIS DEPRESSES ME :( I'm realizing I'm BROKE and I HATE being so financially restricted. It like physically hurts. I do, however, respect you and your partner for being so thorough, disciplined, and determined on reaching your financial goals!!! Ya'll are literal goals

      Well having people helping her with fixed expenses is a big difference. In my experience buying power matters because the odds seem higher with disproportion buying power.

    Ok, I haven’t even watched yet (but know I will be blessed by it)! I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for inspiring me to recommit to my financial well-being. Your videos have been a wonderful blessing to me and I am very thankful for you! I am 49 years old with about 16,000 in total debt and it was feeling SUFFOCATING. You have made me feel like this debt free thing is actually possible for me. I will be heading over to ETSY today to purchase your budget worksheet!
    I wish you and your family many blessings!! 🙏😊

    I love these mock budget videos! Though I'm no where near where I want to be financially in terms of how much money I make, but these videos inspire me to strive to make more but of course still being financially smart with it! :)

    Going out to eat only 2-3 times a month? Wow! I eat out like 3-4 times a week lol I am a beginner learner in cooking and need to encourage myself to get groceries and cook!

    I love this we make about this and I'd say it's pretty accurate to what we do here except there is no property tax payment here which is $235 per month for us so there is no fun money lol and groceries for 4 on this Income is $600- here in Canada and that's very reasonable not overspending like everyone I know spends more

    Where do you live to spend $1000 in base rent for an apartment and how much square feet is it? I just find that nearly impossible in DFW unless you are getting a 500 square foot studio.

    Where does the car note go? You mentioned gas but I don't think I can use $281 for the note and gas for the month. Would that just go to (savings/debt)?

      Thats the thing...The rent and car payment are the elephants in the room.

    Are you able to add more categories? Like if I give my mom money each month and if there’s credit debt one month?

      You can definitely add more categories! Budgets are totally customizable. 😊

      I work with $150/month and believe me, it can be done. Key thing, is to plan before going shopping. Stick to your list and log down what you've purchased. This will give you a hint of what you enjoy eating and how well you eat. Good luck!

      She has a great video about groceries!! I think it just depends on where you shop and buying less expensive versions. Also, preparing your meals from scratch saves a lot of money!

    What is your income vs. your husband’s income.
    No disparities. I just want to see ALL the numbers prior to taking your advice. That’s all.
    You show $3,750. Ok. Cool. But if he is $3k and you are $750, that affects my my gravity to your content. Right?

    • @TheBudgetingWife
      @TheBudgetingWife  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is a mock budget so not our actual income… and why would money management skills change based on who makes what income? It’s our household. All our money. There have been seasons where I have made more and seasons where he has made more. But I will never fully disclose the numbers individually because of the privacy for his employer.
