Cripes what a gnarled up entangled mess of busted, smashed logs, and slash surrounding the base of that group of cedars, it sure gave you one heck of a workout just getting to the base of the cedar tree to put your cuts in. Appreciate you sharing each reel of film you upload Bjarne.
Yup, either the Insta360 'X' series or the GoPro Max 360 can capture your videos & images that are quite unlike anything else, plus the editing software and special effects that come pre- installed with both these cameras is absolutely incredible, you can't go wrong, yes, both cameras are high priced but it is worth paying the extra investment for the footage & editing they produce.

I would always like to think that I would love to have your job. But then I truly think about it and I don't have the extreme knowledge you have and I definitely don't have the Kahunas you have. I never used to be scared of heights, but as I age I value my life more and am therefore a little bit more scared of heights. Great Job!

Hi Bjarne , How long do your saws last for before the compression gets down and they need a rebuild ? I have saws that are 20 years old and fine however they probably only do 20 hours a year cutting some camp fire wood . I was curious how long they go for being used all day every day. Thanks Mate

Why cut trees that will blow apart? How do the company make any money for that tree ? Good video stay safe
I don't think the company does , but everything in the cut block goes , if it's cedar they will get something out of it even if it's just mulch, the tree isn't really a product it's more of a problem.
I think it is also a safety issue. Logging rules require any tree over a certain height like 5 feet with damage must be dropped for safety purposes.
I was kind of thinking the same......why stick a chainsaw in that mess and risk someone getting injured. Paying someone's hospital bill is gonna be more than what they get out of that rot pile.
@@jgz6989 because it is a safety hazard to getting at other trees on the block. Provincial regs say it all has to go
