I read so many m/m books, they are my 'guilty pleasure' .... even though I don't feel guilty reading them! There are so many great m/m books out there, so please do hit me up for recommendations in the future. For now, read anything by NR Walker as she's amazing. Her Thomas Elkin series is one of my all time faves and I re-read it so many times.
T.J. Klune is probably one of absolute favorite m/m authors. He can do sexy, hilarious, imaginative, touching and epic adventure. The 3 best (in order), are The Lightning Struck Heart, The House In The Cerulean Sea, and The Extroardinaries. I will say that I only listened to the audiobooks, but you should give them a try.
Ooooh, so happy you mentioned the Like Us series, I love that series sooo much. I have read the Addicted/Calloway sisters series before reading this series and I enjoyed it a lot, but I can see people liking the LU series more if you read that one first. I'm very much looking forward to Sullivan's story :-) I've read Him and I got Us on audio because I can't get the e-book :-s
Great recommendations! You should try the straight guy series and the calluvia's royalty series by Alessandra hazard. I've reread her books multiple times and still love them as much as I did the first time reading them. Also, Sloane Kennedy has a huge collection of mm, mmm, and I believe a mmmm, they are all interconnected but addictive to read. Her's are called the protectors series, the finding series, and two others that are mentioned but I'm forgetting them at the moment. If you look at hers there should be a list of the reading order at the beginning of any one of the books. Sorry if this is a lot but this is one of my favorite genres!
@@diz_et_dat I have found that Piper Scotts series is really close but different at the same. Hers is called The Forbidden Desires Series. I've really fallen in love with her too.

Now that you’ve read a heap of m/m contemporary romance... I know you love historical romance as well, and two favourite m/m historical romance authors that I highly recommend are: Cat Sebastian, published by Avon Romance (perhaps start with It Takes Two to Tumble); and KJ Charles, both indie and traditionally published with Entangled (I started with her Society of Gentlemen series, but she also has a number of stand alone titles).
If u don't read Over and Over Again by Cole McCade, you are missing a piece of ur heart! Its a super slow burn, but totally worth it because it flows so well together
Ok I loved For Real so much but I cant get into any of her other series except London Calling which is kinda sad but you know, it happens. For the Sarina Bowen/Elle Kennedy book, I cant read it even though I DESPERATELY want to bc wes has the same name as my youngest sibling and I just can't hear that name in the context of sex 🥴 if he would go by Ryan all would be swell 😭😤
Lols! It's funny, cause I hear that about names a lot. It has never been an issue for me. But I do always laugh when I see certain names used. The characters are usually so far from the people I know with the same names, so it doesn't but me.

It found it odd that that majority (fairly significant majority) of readers AND authors are women. Breaking it down further the majority of those female readers identify as heterosexual.

The Understatement of the Year by Sarina Bowen was the first MM book I read, and I'm hooked since! 💕

I am on the 3rd addicted book now. Its just so painfully real... so not quite as fun as the Like Us series was. But I am excited for it to continue.
