I wonder how they do the modulation. Using PWM class-D amplifiers? Or by manipulating the many individual RF slices through hard ON-OFF switching?
Couldn't find anything about this on the Nautel web site.

So Hungary is a great power in MW broadcasting. The Hungarian Radio is the most powerful station in Europe, and it's among the most powerful stations in the whole world now, since higher power transmitters than 2000 kW do not exist.

Congratulations....¿Can you explain me, in 1:52, why TX-B has more reflejted power than the others? Thanks

That was most likely during the final alignment before everything was perfeclty matched

Hello, those values are not reflection but rejected powers (waste power on the combiner's reject loads). You can see the quite high reject load temperatures on the bars on the right hand side. These values occur from the individual transmitters being a little bit out of sync. This cut was definitely before the final, "smooth" syncronization of the system.

at 1.8Megawatts, that antenna on the transistor radio was really needed wasnt it!

Compact and efficient but MOSFETs are not as pretty as tubes.
