I got a Blackthorn amulet while farming Act 2. It has 101 Dexterity, 12% life, 342 LoH, 41 resist all, and 7% Attack Speed. Best item I got so far since 1.03. Thanks for the guide!
That's awesome brother, I honestly think after my polyphasic experiences humans are built for shorter more frequent sleeps rather than one long 8 hour block.

Thanks for the advice... I always thought that life-steal isn't worth it, but after getting 5% life-steal ( sacrificing some life on hit ) the game became much easier. I'm currently in Hell Act III and normal enemies die in seconds and champions are doable. Suddenly the game became challenging and fun. Thanks again.
Since the patch i've made a new character and played a bit more of act 1 inferno with that character and found a lot more good items than i was finding before the patch. I found two decent set items within an hour of each other and a lot of high dps weapons with decent stats as well. The watch tower in the northern highlands is a good place to find elites in too, had 11 elites in there last night which was an awesome find.
hey dude, i've read on the forums that blizzard made it seem that more ilvl 63 will come into the game because they also would drop in act 1/2, but actually there are coming less or the same amount of ilvl 63 items in the game, the drop chance of ilvl 63 is definately lowered in act 3, i've farmed act 3 for at least 10 hours a day for a week and b4 the patch i've gotten alot more ilvl 63 than after the patch, I hope act 3 is going to be abit more rewarding in the future again! :) , ps, nice vid

True, but just today I wanted to buy better weapons in the AH-did a search for LifeOnHit>200 and found 5 items. Three of them cost several million and the others were worse than what I have. I have my swords since Nightmare Act II... I think it's time to get better ones. Maybe I'll go back to the beginning of Act II, it was fairly easy. Maybe I'll try to farm there. The Kuhle dungeons are a little bit too hard for me. (30k health, 3k dps, 50% armor, 20% res, 250 life on hit ). Fire hurts a lot.
Hm with those stats it seems like it would have to be your playstyle or build. What kind of build are you using? And you are making sure to avoid things like fire/lasers/etc right?
@HappyJacksChannel I've been gearing up with life on hit, but I'm curious if life steal would be effective seeing as we hit for over 100k with overawe and that blind rune. I heard you mention that you were interested in this as well, have you found any results as of yet? I Heard that life steal gets deducted by 80% in inferno whereas life on hit is only affected by your abilities modifier

I am stuck farming butcher. I have gotten to Mahgda once and killed her on inferno, but I just can't seem to get any further. Of late I have not gotten any good drops, but the AH is packed with stuff from butcher runs now. So, I break everything down and throw the mats up, they typically sell immediately, not for millions, but some return is better than vendoring.
Also, my stats on my monk are 16k DPS (18k buffed), 779 resist ( buffed, 655 unbuffed), 800+ LoH, and 34k health. I'm pretty well geared. I'm dual wielding, too.
Pre 1.0.3 I almost put some holes in my walls from the frustration... now, it's doable. Do you have any gear that gives you life on hit? Either lifesteal or +life on hit? I find that to be pretty invaluable.
Mmmm I'd google polyphasic sleep. I think sleep is one of those things that the more disciplined you are about it, the better quality it gets. If you take naps randomly through the day it's def going to screw with your schedule, however if you take a 20 min nap at the same time everyday it can be great results. Right now I sleep from 2am-5:15am, with a nap from 4pm to 5:30pm, so total of about 4:45 sleep a day and it works great.
I'm actually making a lot more gold the last few days, sold an amulet for 7mil and a shoulder for 5mil plus all the other little things, i ended up making about 25mil in 3 days. maybe im just being lucky, but I found farming act1 is a lot better, since you'll never die, and able to kill more packs in the same amount of time, and the drop rate of high ilv items is not that much lower then act2
Thanks for replying, but i don't have much of that.. as i found that your crit stacking build worked pretty well.. i just don't have to greatest cash stack right now. And adding that to the addition of crit chance/damage, is out of my reach. I can to to throw a few things in there.. but it'll be tough. Any other suggestions? My friends think I'm crazy for doing those 15-20 min naps! I did that all through University so that I could sit and study for 6h periods on a regular basis without falling asleep :)
I want to get this game and I played the demo and my b day is coming so when I pick my character I'm deciding wether I get the monk or barbarian which one.
what woudl you say is the best way to farm gold, act 3/4 nightmare quickly with gold find gear or act 1-2 inferno with battle and no gold find gear? i can do hell ok but thats a mix of battle and gold find gear
Yeah seems like Blizzard did a overall nerf to item rolls(maybe not iLevels), to be fair the AH was getting flooded with good stuff, but it sucks going for 6 hours without finding anything decent.
been finding ilvl63 items in act 1 and act 2, but either the dmg or armor is really low while the stats are really good, or just complete garbage ilvl61-62 items -___- you basically still have to farm in act 3-4 by the looks of it

1: No membership is neeeded 2: All your gear is accessible by all your characters (everything is online, so you need an internet connection when playing; even single-player!)
I came to the same conclusion. Act II is more efficient farming with less dying. I found 2-3 OK weapons since patch 1.03 and the armor drops have gone to absolute shit.
i found a 1kDPS rare bow with Int. Sold it for 4Million which was around 10million cheaper than the other 1kbow. Other than that, i have not found anything worth a damn. I find soo many gold/magical find items now, which sometimes sell. Im disappointed in the changes.
They must have nerfed the drops.. ive farmed the same spot maybe 30-40 times. and i havent found a single good item for my monk. I did find one item wich sold for 1 mill, but that was it.. I thought id test it out the other day, so i farmed 2 full pages in my chest with rares, pluss a full inventory. At the end i was left with 4 items that i could sell for maybe 3-500k.... seems impossible to progress like this.
I think they did. Like for a day the drops were good, and then they were crap again. Seriously at this rate 75% of the playerbase is going to quit by August.

By far the best monk build ive ever seen. Doing act I runs with 18k hp 600 resist 13k dps like a madman with this build concept. Subscribed

Great video. I have been doing this and running Act III from the Arreat Crater on. I have also been getting a ton of 62-63 items but nothing "great".

I still haven't been able to fully test 6% lifesteal, but have been having good success with 2.8% lifesteal and 940 life on hit.

with the increased repair rates would you say that going the indestructible route would be a good play?

Yeah seems like it might be a good idea to pick up a nice crafting recipe now and craft stuff with all the things you get to melt down.

Ive got a few really great drops. a couple 75+ allresist items with good stats. 3 950+ Dps one handed swords. Ive made about 30mil in drops so far

If you take a nap at the same time everyday you can train your body to fall asleep pretty quickly at that time.

Try lifesteal, they're pretty good in Hell stil.
Yep crit chance and critical hit damage. If you stack weapons with crit hit damage and crit hit damage sockets you'll notice a massive boost.
