It's not even comparable to my 2012 Squier Butterscotch 50s P, but looks good enough. The woods are what seem to be so iffy these days, they just don't care about wood quality so much..
@@Justin-m6j It may surprise you-stock sound is even fine enough, but worth upgrading pickup and strings to taste, at least. I changed everything over time and it's most certainly a favorite of mine, with its own unique sound, but not far from a P bass. Does not feel cheap at all despite being inexpensive, solid neck if a bit raw-looking, playability is superb. Frets were great in my sample. Awesome for beginners and seasoned musicians alike, IMHO.
Too much buzz, but a guess a little setup could help. Not a bad tone tho considering it's a short scale $200 USD bass...
