I’m a natural right handed person but I fish with left handed retrieve, I use left hand retrieve because I feel like I have more power and control over the fish. And also I can cast with my right and immediately reel with my left. All I had to do was get use to reeling with my left hand.

You can change the handle so it's left or right
Friendly til with spinning rods and reel you can swap which sides so If it’s a left you can swap it over for a righty

Yea I don't understand how Tyler didn't understand that with most all open cast reals you can switch the handle right or left I'm sure there are some you can't but I've not seen one I have over 120 rod and reals and I don't have one open that can't be switched to either side
