I agree! As I look back on 2nd generation groups, I'm now realizing how young they were. Many were in their early 20s and had already established solo identities apart from their group. Whether it was acting, solo albums, variety shows etc. Nowadays idols who are in their early 20s are nowhere near what these 2nd gen groups achieved at their age.

While 2PM, whether they are on/off stage or doing variety show, you can clearly see they really just exudes that beastly image consistently and all 2PM members physically fit and athletic... To put it in a simple way, when i look at 2PM, i see all of them as MEN but when i look at other boy groups, most of them are still BOYS...

I've known kpop since BoA sang OST for inuyasha. It's been more than 15 years. No one can beat 2PM's masculinity. Even I am a 30 yrs old ELF, but their manly side never failed to amuse me. I love them with all my heart as part of my youth.
2nd gen is seriously the best. Netizens only expect live singing and even had a huge issue when Tara debuted while lip synching. Newer idols now despite having good vocals mostly lip synch or have a loud back track or prerecorded vocals. Y
2pm is really amazing Their songs are great and enjoyable, their dance performance is amazing and their singing has improved so much compared to the past. The members are also close with each other and seem loyal. They also witty and fun. I love their youtube content so much. I think 2pm will last long as group.

2PM are basically 6 JYP, They are tall, buffed, can dance and sing. The only idol group from JYP that he uses himself as a template 😝
Monsta X were the ones to carry on the Beast Idol title. After 2pm only MX has done it and been successful and naturally
