Wakayama Prison in JAPAN-Wakayama Prefecture, the only women's prison in the Kansai region with 400 inmates. For 14 years, a prison radio programme has been broadcast here every Tuesday. The listeners are inmates serving time in the prison. Once a year, inmates send a request card to the radio DJ with their thoughts and feelings. It is not known until the moment of broadcast whether the requested song will actually be broadcast or not...

This radio programme, in which the various feelings of the prisoners intersect, is DJ'd by Ganzui Hojo, a priest at a temple in Osaka, and Mukai Chieko, a presenter in Wakayama.
