    There are some incredible Resolve tutorial channels, but you are one of my top favorites. You teach exactly the types of effects and transitions that I want to learn how to do in Resolve. All of my previous projects were done in Vegas Pro which was extremely limited. I haven't completed any full projects in Resolve yet (currently using Intel integrated graphics which is s...o... s...l...o...w... but I'll be getting a good graphics card soon), but the little bit I have done and in my testing I've seen a huge step up in quality and it's channels like this that have made all the difference. Resolve has such a great community. I'm definitely glad I made the switch!

    Is there a reason you choose to do some of the effects manually in fusion as opposed to using the preset effects already present in Davinci? Some of the effects you're making are achieved easier with the methods you shown, but others might produce similar results if you were to just drag and drop from the effects tab, not to mention easier and faster. So I was just wondering if the main reason for going into fusion every time, is that it simply allows for more detailed and accurate tweaking?

    • @PeeJ_ENT
      @PeeJ_ENT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, going into fusion allows me to control every parameter of an effect the way I would like contrary to using the preset edit page effects, for me most importantly I like to control the spline graphs of everything

    Hey, could you please explain a little more on why you compound the clips at the start?

    • @PeeJ_ENT
      @PeeJ_ENT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Compounding the clips allows you to contain the footage in its own timeline without actually shortening it and moving your cut point, I do this so when I make the footage go in slow motion (or "twixtoring" like in this video th-cam.com/video/0Jh2a-ntllA/w-d-xo.html ) I have a space to do that, if I were to do this process in the main timeline, things may move when I do not want them to move or clips may delete accidentally when using ripple delete

    Great build-up. Is there a way to create a preset out of it or any way to comfortably reload this transition in a new project? When I unite them in a compound clip I cannot adjust the individual adjustment layers anymore.

    • @PeeJ_ENT
      @PeeJ_ENT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you do all of the effects in one or two adjustment clips then you can easily reuse it by dragging the saved adjustment clip from your power bin

    thanx so much PeeJ..love you tutorials! whats your FPS usually? if for example you´re on 25 FPS, i would have to double the number of Frame-steps you take back or forth, if i´m on a 50 frames time line? and if i raise my FPS in the timeline higher than the original footage is, how bad is that?

    • @PeeJ_ENT

    How hard is it to make the slide completly seamless.
    Like no mirrored edges, the clips are side by side and just slide to the side together.
    I already know it'll look like a powerpoint transition and itll need blur and a godlike spline curve.
    But realistically how hard is it?

    • @PeeJ_ENT
      @PeeJ_ENT  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It would be a different process, since you would need to have both clips on the screen at the same time, it would need to be a stinger transition rather than what I'm doing on this current video, stingers: th-cam.com/video/CM7duZ_seE8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=o0tG6x-YgUltMRy8
