  • SM Megamall Redevelopment Project
    SM Megamall's major renovations will tapped the international architectural firm Benoy. That's the same group behind Jewel Changi and ION Orchard in Singapore as well as ICONSIAM in Thailand. For their plans, they took inspiration from the concept of the Philippines as a "country of a thousand islands," which was then interpreted as a "Crystal Islands" aesthetic for the interiors and exteriors of the mall.
    They'll have more retail space, an indoor garden, and updated cinemas.
    With a tropical oasis as their main influence, you can expect nature-inspired designs with open spaces dotted with greenery, wider halls, and higher ceilings. They take it to the next level-literally-on the fifth floor. It'll have a specific roofing system that allows more natural light to enter the air-conditioned garden they're setting up. It'll also have tables and chairs for cozy coffee nooks.
    The redevelopment, of course, isn't just about the look. They're also adding 20,000 square meters of space that can be used for retail stores and restaurants. And in line with that, they'll also be adding over 1,000 additional parking slots to the mall.
    the new shopping and dining options, it only makes sense that they're also adding updated cinemas into the mix. They'll have seven cinemas, two Director's Club theaters, and and a large-format cinema that's perfect for special events and exclusive screenings.

Sakit nun idol. Ilang months bago Ako naka move on. 😢

These are my outlook .. malawak walang tao na pupunta walang pera ..

    grocery stores in the PHilippines are horrible. Everything is over priced. either they are all imported items or over priced fruits and veggies. They need to improve the price points and quality of goods inside the store to be more just with low waged masses, specially the new robinson's acquired Market place , groceries for the rich. It seems they want to make you pay for a clean food market because if you shop at wet markets it's dirty and filthy. It's not like this in other countries ,clean grocery stores should be affordable to the masses. :(

      @@dodonggoldblum2085 well that is not the point , but you don't get it. Don't you think common filipinos deserve better, like how it is in other countries? Or you are rich and you don't care about your fellow man.

      I agree it is expensive however you have to consider the expenses: e.g employees, utilities, and the cost of rental spaces etc,etc,etc. everything come with a cost

    • @noeminoemi1350

      @@JaxToz employee wages in the PHilippines is peanuts, minimum wage is like 600 p and the price of a kilo of fruit is 300p, that eats up half the daily wage. Now compare it to the grocery prices in our neighbors , which is much lower so their purchasing power is higher. I don't think the mall and grocery owners in the PHilippines are suffering, they're dollar billionaires and getting richer by the day. That's why only the mall owners are rich and the rest is barely getting by. Don't get me wrong I want them to make a profit too but the prices are just ridiculous, the grocery stores in other countries are affordble to everyone, unlike in the Phils it's only for the rich. When that changes that's the day the PHils quality of life has prospered and improved.

    • @raincloud706

      The purpose of the town government is to make their public market as dirty and inconvenient as possible so that people will go to the mall instead
