I ended going with the X60 max and it’s doing what I needed it to do which is keep an eye on my recent land / camp purchase from the comfort of my home an hour away. I’m still on the trial plan so I will definitely be purchasing an annual subscription. My only issue is the app says online but 0 signal even though the camera itself shows 4 bars, oh and the temp sensor seems to be a little wacky but that’s zero issue for me.

(By the way, I agree with your E6 WiFi review and comments, too: maybe next year their WiFi models will be able to "seek" and transmit through our own WiFi LAN's. My 5G data allowance is being eaten up.) Very pleased with the GardePro line.

Not happy with 2, and going to return, but the 2 GardePros I like. This camera is one of them. They are easy to set up, and understand, even for dummies like me. I set it up yesterday and put it out last night. I have a question. It stays it's activated all the time. Is that normal for a cellular camera? And if I put a second one up, do they work on the same data plan? I am going to set the Wi Fi camera up this morning. Definitely getting a couple more. The activated status is good. It means the camera has a data plan and is current. Each Gardepro cellular camera requires a separate data plan (like most cellular cameras).

10 sec limit on videos for day and/or night is ridiculous... it says in the manual of the other 60P that there is a range of 10 secs to 5 mins for vids but does not say resolutions, and also that it is only 10 secs if using cellular..?? not sure what is meant by that... any ideas while I wait a few more days for support to maybe answer that?.. companies need to stop that practice and have at least 20sec to 2 min spans in coverage. Hard to enjoy/properly assess many times and want to pass on to others when it is only 10 secs in duration... everything else is excellent, but that kills a lot of its appeal as the use case/quality becomes diminished. If we are paying for data and the power to run the cams we should be able to get some more video time out of them. Thanks for the great videos!
when you press download on a video in the app does it download the whole video or just the picture burst? and do you have to pay extra for an hd request? the video length only goes to 10 seconds? or is that just the length it will send to the app
You can download a video (not the picture burst). It downloads in 10 clips. If your video is longer you can download several 10 second clips for that one video
Hello. I have the Garde Pro X50. Great Cam but in the App the Status is wrong. 30 Videos 10 Seconds the most by night. SD Card Status 0 Prozent, Batterie Status 100 Prozent. You also have the same problems? Great regards from Germany 😊
You can download pictures from anywhere there is cellular signal. There is no live view but there is a “Transfer each capture” mode, which quickly sends pictures each time the camera is triggered
The camera uses a small amount of data to send you the notification that there has been a picture taken, but the majority of the data is used when the picture is downloaded.
This camera is cellular and can send alerts to your cell phone when there is activity. My only concern is if you’ve never used a cell cam before, I often recommend other cameras with customer service that isn’t email based

You will need a data plan for each camera because there is a separate SIM card in each camera.
Is the plan cost per camera or can you add several cameras to same plan?
Unfortunately each camera needs its own plan/sim card

Thanks for the suggestion. Many of the “aftermarket” camera do not have security boxes available.
