In the 1st quarter, I said to myself, “They’re (the defence) holding them” which no other team had done. Tremendous coaching had the team studying Winnipeg’s tendencies on film throughout the preceding week. Some terrific sacks resulted. Overall, an inspiring team performance.
Thanks for posting this. Always great to see another CFL fan posting games. However, I want to warn you that @CalgaryStampedersClassics posted this game, as well, and CFL had it taken down. Best not to post recent Grey Cup games. It's a shame that CFL isn't willing to work with the fans and would rather just have their videos taken down. All it takes is one fan from each city to record and post the games, and everything would be available on TH-cam. It's free promotion/publicity for the league.
I think CFL filed a copyright claim. I had it bookmarked, and when I went back, I remember seeing "CFL" on the screen. Damn, I wish I didn't delete the bookmark so I can go back and check. Oh well, so far so good here :-D .
** spoiler alert! ** . . . . . On the last FG attempt, it looked like it was going to go wide even before it was blocked. 02:08:52 The tee looks to be inches right of centre. Ball gets kicked and immediately goes left.
No doubt it was going wide. But it still is a huge block because Banks didn't have to worry about getting the ball out of the endzone to not give up the rouge. It was just dead before it hit the endzone. It turned out to be massive even if the kick was always wide

I’ve loved the CFL since 1976. Got to see it on ESPN. Condredge Holloway was a favorite of mine. I also saw the Baltimore Stallions. Mike Pringle with a ground pound game for 2 years. I’m a native of Maryland. I’ve really got back into watching CFL in the last 2 years.
