Get ready for the back seating from the community and OH MY FUCKING GOD THE AMOUNT OF SICK TECH THERE IS TO LEARN AND MASTER, HOLY SHIT THIS GAME IS SO FUCKING GOOD
To be a good little non spoiling every mechanic in the game fan, I'm only going to tell you this instead and if you see this try to ignore anyone else giving tips unless they very specifically say they are going out of their way to not spoil anything, so instead I say this, experiment, try things, if it's a game mechanic in one way there's probably a way to use it elsewhere, if you think it's cool, try it, always experiment and poke literally everything, this game rewards your curiosity at almost every turn, even with the weapons and how they all work with each other, and don't forget to read things as well because people get stuck all the time their first time playing and completely forget the in-game terminals at the beginning of every level.
Thanks for the non-spoiler tips. I'll keep this in mind for the next act!
the backseating is especially annoying because they can simply tell you that the most important things are already explained in the terminals
@@itsSpicyGaming watch out for the thing that goes from fresh to dull on the bottom of the style meter. when you use a weapon, it goes down and decreasing your multiplier until you get like practically no style, the game encourages you to switch weapons (oh and reading text is actually useful in this game, it actually has good tips.)
Here's a tip: if you parry anything parry-able, you regain hull health and stamina
You can make your red punch explode by holding melee button, it's quite handy

ULTRAKILL is my favourite game of all time, in the past 8 weeks I’ve done 8 playthroughs, two of which were 100%, and p-ranked every level multiple times. I might be addicted
please GOD play all of this game. it has so much to offer and if you enjoyed act one it only gets better from there

i also HIGHLY recommend looking for the secret levels
not the blue orbs
the secret LEVELS
each layer has one and imo
the secret levels are THE BEST part of the game
for later you can find the prelude secret level in 0-2
limbo in 1-1
lust in 2-3
gluttony is a little special but its in 3-1
greed is in 4-2
wrath is in 5-1
heresy is also special like gluttony but its in 6-2
violence is in 7-3
i recommend looking for the secret levels after playing all the main levels in the corresponding layer
After you finish everything try too P-rank every level its really fun and if you do it you will unlock the hardest bosses in the game
And P-rank is them too🌝

if you dare to play full game, legends might warn you. because there is a secret lying in the hell, all i can say is "prepare thyself"
25:22 for people who wana do this part legit instead of spamming coin. You can use the nail gun on green burst mode and the rail gun on normal blue mode. just using this you can beat him but you gotta constantly keep on moving and sliding otherwise you are cooked
What's wrong with using the coin?
You need to melee hit an enemy with F to heal, it's what the game told you at the very beginning and besides parrying the only way to regenerate health
Shooting enemies close range also heals you

i finished Clair de lune first try on standard cause i spent 2 hours trying to beat the twins on 1-3
I didn’t go back and fight the twins till I had beaten the 4th layer, I remember 1-4 taking me like 20 minutes to beat because I wasn’t used to V2s speed

If you do see this, youre underutilizing coins and weapon swapping/variety. Red fist has an explosion if you hold it also

I believe you'll need some tips if you wanna replay the peak.
1: you can parry attacks like the hell mass (red balls), normal attacks etc. Only by the blue arm.
2: coins can be shot by other weapons (other revolvers and a railgun) to increase the damage or change how it works, the best example of it is the railgun.
3: you can parry your own bullets from the shotgun, when you press F while having the blue arm equipped, then you shoot and parry at the same time, the normal bullets will become explosive on impact.
4: coins can be thrown a lot more times, and even punched, but there are seperate videos on that.
5: some bosses have small cutscenes where they don't attack, in those seconds, you can attack them or set up a trap to get them low.
I'd reccomend watch tutorials on TH-cam, as I'm not that good myself, but definitely not bad.
