    Thoughtful, interesting lecture! The Native American cultures of North America seem closely allied with European cave art -- the importance of animals to their culture, along with the animal-dressed shaman, are so similar. Having the benefit in America of the survival of some of these ancient attitudes and practices, it seems likely that the European cave paintings were accompanied not only by music but by imaginative story-telling.
