  • Ever wanted to use a different controller with your Mini-Z? Want a different option to the KO Propo RF-901S module, or maybe it doesn't fit in the controller you want to use? DasMicro has a solution for ASF and MHS frequency Mini-Zs.
    What you need:
    Controller with PPM signal
Dasmikro DSK-124 MHS ASF DIY module

    Optional:
NTE960 5V Voltage Regulator or similar

That DasMikro board is super rare these days so grab it while you can.

They do seem to have rather intermittent production on a lot of their different boards. It seems to be out of stock on the main Chinese shopping sites but I did happen to find other distributors still have them.

@@degnann Hopefully they'll have a steady production again. I don't have an ASF car yet but I do want this board.
The elegance of older radios is that there's PPM output and it opens up a lot of possibilities.

Very very nice Video... Could you say it works on a Kopropo EX2? Dont know if it has a ppm signal 😀

If you are talking about the older ‘80s style, shaped like the Mars, then yes the PPM signal is a bit burried from what I can gather. If it is the newer KIY I’m not as familiar with. This is for the vintage EX-5 but not having taken apart an EX I can’t speak to how much translates from 5 to 2.
