My house value has almost doubled in the last 15 years in Benton County. Inflation has crippled me and I have no disposable money - all to bills but I'm making it. I'm on fixed income. To cash out the equity seems tempting at times but where could I go? Family is here and any moves are expensive and wouldn't generate life changing monies for me. I'll stay here until I die I suppose. I've lived here my whole life. I just wish I had more money in retirement but it could be worse.
