I braved a sleazy hotel to watch the premiere of the l word in January 2004. And it was so cold that night. I hadn’t yet got my showtime on cable and had to call around to see who had it. The hotel was scary but I remember how proud and ecstatic after watching it sitting on a towel! Long story short I got my showtime by the second episode and watched it comfy in my own home. I knew it would blow up! Had no doubt snd so happy TLWGQ is here and loving it as well!! You all are like my family❤️🥰✌🏼
I'm 29 and I grew up watching The L Word and it has meant so much to me. I remember hiding the fact that I was watching it from my mom. I would be watching it on the small TV we had our porch and if she went outside for some reason I would turn the channel right away. Seeing us being represented on TV made me feel a little more accepted and normal. I have to admit, I haven't started watching Generation Q yet, but that's mostly because I'm hearing a lot of mixed reviews about people not liking it and that the original was much better. I think I gotta make up my opinion about it tho, so I'm gonna start soon.
Well, I'm in my sixties... gulp... Kate n Leish, you have profoundly affected my life, and I thank you for that. I follow you two religiously and love love love your PANTS podcast. When I grew up, I also had absolutely no representation at all. In fact, pretty much we were punished back then. So sad. Thank you and your cast members also. I absolutely love Jen Beals. I love Kate n Leish. Hey, that would be a great song!! 😻😻 😘♥♥ Would love to see ya on screen again!!!👏🙌
