Just bought a ps5, psvr2, racing cockpit, wheels pedals and shifter. Not my wife's favorite person right now. But come Saturday at least I can escape reality
For those that hasnt tried it, its totally impossible to describe it. Got mine last weekend. Just going into showroom VR mode with my favorite 992 gt rs had me blown away. Ended up sitting inside it for 15 minutes dreaming on. Its sooo real. Totally feels like the real deal, till you try to turn the dashboard buttons. Like you will coz the thing fakes your perception so hard 😊 Been in the seat for days now racing dailies in VR. Instantly better laptimes. And did I mention sense of height elevation. Also fantastic. The 14 degree climb in Nordschleife really looked like going up a rollercoaster, something a flatscreen cant express at all. Go try it out. Even tossed away my classes while playing the psvr2. And i can hardly see anything up close.

I have 8 NM of force feedback on my base/wheel right now. I do wish I was able to get the PlayStation compatible fanatec podium series base before fanatec discontinue it.
Wtf? Is anyone else noticing huge stutter in this video? Looks like 20fps to me. It’s all over the place. I’m sure it can’t look this way, in headset because the driver would instantly sick.
look at any other recorded gameplay video using the PSVR2 and it’s bumpy, that’s not a stutter…. Screen recordings using the PS5 is either 30fps or 60fps, Which this was at 30…. It’s the way some of the video comes across when screen recording PSVR2 gameplay…. Nothing I can do about it. Trust me I have looked it up. Really any type of head movement will cause it to bump a little, and I kept my head as straight as I could with the steering wheel jerking me around 😂
@@MikeDGaming I don’t know how other people record their psvr2 footage. I just know that I’ve watched many gt7 psvr2 videos and livestreams and they seemed normal and smooth. I wasn’t having a go at you, I was just surprised, because I’ve never seen a gt7 psvr2 video to be so choppy.
Here are some videos for you where you can see the same issue, it happens on all videos using PSVR2 with GT7, so that statement is false. And again this is only a few. I have not yet. I do eventually want to try out Resident Evil Village. I played through that game on Xbox already, but I think it would be fun on VR

Nope, that’s part of what happens naturally when recording VR video. Sadly there’s nothing I can do about that.

Before the PSVR2 this was one of the worst "sim" games ive ever played now its a much better game.
It’s definitely made the whole experience of playing the game better and much more immersive.
