The problem is Pakistan just has one world class batsman in T20, and he is Fakhr Zaman. There are 2 good batsman, Babar and Rizwan but they are very selfish and regrettably only start taking risks after they score 50 and they ask others to take risks.
Babar and Rizwan are average AT BEST. They've fooled the ppl by scoring against depleted teams. You will not find 10 innings each vs top teams (A sides), not in Pakistan and in matches which had pressure.
Absolutely spot on but unfortunately ranking doesn't say that that's the reason some blind fans and analysts like DR and Rashid are blind folded by it.@@rickjamesb.

I learnt & started bowling after watching Pakistani greats like Wasim, Waqar, Aaqib, Ata ur Rahman, Mohd. Sami etc in 90s on TV. I have been following Pakistan cricket for more than 3 decades and Babar Azam is the worst captain in Pak's rich cricketing history. Some of the biggest humiliations in the history of Pakistan's cricket have come under Babar's captaincy:
1) Pakistan has played 18 T20Is against Zimbabwe, out of which Pak has won 16 and lost 2; both the losses came under Babar i.e. he is the only Pak captain to have lost T20 matches against Zimbabwe and that too once in the World Cup.
2) Pakistan in its Test history was never whitewashed at home in a series but Babar Azam achieved this against England.
3) Aus visiting Pak for a test series after 23 years was a historical moment. Any other Pak captain from the past would have killed themselves but loose this series. But what did Babar do? He and Ramiz made flat wickets and still lost the series.
4) Pakistan in its history had never had a whole year without wining a test match at home, but Babar Azam broke this record also.
5) Pak lost against Afghanistan for the first time in ODI WC'23 under Babar Azam. Not only that but in its 50 years long history it was the first time that Pak failed to defend 275+ score in an ODI World Cup. This humiliation also came under Babar's captaincy.
These are some hard facts and not my opinion. So when you too sit here and defend Babar Azam with a straight face, I can't help but ask myself why?? Why would two privileged people such as you be so intellectually dishonest with their viewers, why??
