This review sealed the deal for me buying this. RevZilla had a great price, so I couldn't help but order this sucker! AWESOME!

The breath deflector comes in the box with a new purchase. It's not pre-installed but can be installed when needed. ~Ali

I seem to fit best in shoei helmets and have owned 2 vfx-r's and loved them. I am looking to get a new lid and am looking at the troy lee se3 and air, shoei vfx-w, moto 9, and aria helmets. I tried them all on and still like the fit of the vfx-w but like the price and look of the troy lee helmets. Troy lee seam to fit me a little weird though. The xl seamed loose side to side and the large pinched my checks also it seamed to be not tall enough for my head like my chin was exposed. I do have a tall narrow oval head. Iv heard you talk about changing pads in the troy lee's how do you do it would I get a xl and get bigger cheek pads or a large with smaller ones? the aria helmet was nice but wasn't as comfortable as the vfx-w or as nice looking as the troy lee's. How do these helmets fit and what helmet do you think would fit my head shape well. Any help on the sizing would be appreciated.

justin desjardins From my experience, if a helmet doesn't fit your head shape well, replacement liners and pads do not fix the problem in the long-run. I'd stick with what works and what's comfortable. After hours on thestreet, trail or track you will be much happier. -Hi-Viz Brian

I hate what Shoei did to the fit with this helmet! I love Shoei, and have always fit great in their lids, but this one left way too much room in the front of the head for me. I never fit well into any of the Arai street helmets, but the VX Pro 3 fits like a glove. If Shoei goes back to their usualy head shape, I'll be buying one for sure!

My dad bought me one for my birthsday and i've got a problem. It was the last one in sale, but this size is too big for me. Can i buy Large liner set for X-Large shell?

I always fit into Shoei beautifully except this one. A little too much room front to rear for me.

That's because the shoei is made of stronger better material, lightness isn't that much of a good thing with helmets..

Hate how this guy softly caresses a helmet like he has to lightly touch it and put his hands all over it as if it will make him give a better review.
