There should be a pressure switch so when you push it onto something it will automatically kick on and get up to vacuum, then when you release the item, it will release the pressure switch and shut it off

I really wish that grabo could do something about the buttons and switches. I've had two now. Doesn't take two minutes before adhesive or grit gets in the on off switch. Whole machine is then knackered. These lifters are simply excellent except the switches and buttons! (Would also be better if they could run on Makita batteries 😉)
