MAFEX's is cool and comic accurate(for the classic Carnage), Amazing Yamaguchi's is... Well amazing! The design is how they like it and I respect that. It has the most accessories for a Carnage figure and it's just worth the price. If you don't like the price, buy the bootleg! It's very high quality for a bootleg.
just got a cheap 20$ one of amazon for christmas and it is a good bootleg. the leg fell of but that was because it was my first revoltech and i didnt know how the joints were, after getting used to them its a very well figure and i had fun posing it for about an hour. that just shows how fun it is to mess around with the amazingness (you see what i did there) of the amazing yamaguchi
amazing yamaguchi is exaggerated and crazy and I love it for that! each amazing yamaguchi figure is a masterpeice or close on its own and I wil always go to it over mafex of figuarts, but!!! that's just because I don't have an attachment with the core material so I don't care about show accuracy or anything
@Jonathan Devereaux The symbiote acts as a bodysuit in the original comics. The big hulking monstrous slimey symbiotes wasn't a thing until Ultimate Spider-Man
I was able to mess around with the Yamaguchi Carnage before an unfortunate accident, so I can say that he was definitely very fun to pose and accessorize, but the MAFEX Carnage is just so irresistibly eye appealing to me mainly because Carnage is one of my favorite characters.
Tbh i think the new ML, mafex and AY Carnage are all awesome figs, but i prefer the AY and the ML a little bit more because of the price of the ML and the scult and acessories of the AY
If u want a classic carnage I'd get the mafex but if u want absolute carnage 😂 get the yamajuchi but if u don't have any of the I'd personally get the yamajuchi
the only bad thing about the mafex is WHY THEY WENT WITH THAT MOUTH.....and that it lacks tendrils.......bagley always drew carnage with lots of tendrils
I feel if you're nostalgic for the carnage episodes of the 90's Spider-Man series or want the most comic accurate for the 80's and 90's go for mafex, but if you like batshit crazy carnage or more intense posing/modern look and don't mind the tedious posing go for the other company

Mafex is like trying to be a better legends but getting the current legends of carnage, all the sculpted tendrils are superbly done. Mafex has not enough to offer that the legends cannot do. At this point i would even say the marvel select carnage does better than mafex carnage. So this release is a dud. He dun even have a bloody mouth. U dont just mould and entire head and paint it 2d expecting a 3d compromise
I loved that one! Hasbro did a great job giving him the texture of Muscle Fibres and that Black goo sculpted on! Its a very solid Carnage!. Looking forward to get a deluxe edition with more accesories! c:
I have a problem with the yamaguchi figure. His hand accessories are extremely hard to get in and whenever i do get them in they end up easily popping off. On his left hand his hand i tried to change out the hand but the peg was taken off of the arm entirely,his legs are extremely stiff and hard to move. His head and neck pop off completely if i move the neck fully around.

You can close the amazing yamaguchi carnage figures mouth, you have to push the top head forward, lift the front jaw and push it back
