Why I created my TH-cam Channel: Through my TH-cam Channel "Walking Tall with G-MAN" I strive to inspire and motivate people to never give up in life as well as using this platform to share my sporting passion.
When I was younger, I was told because of my height I wouldn’t be able to play a sport in school however I proved everyone wrong and played sport and became first-team cricket captain of my school.
Having dwarfism did force me to stop playing sport after varsity; however, I continued to share my passion through my TH-cam Channel. - กีฬา
I have discovered, after 60 years of life, that bad years come and go. I have had many 'worst years' of my life. Then something happens that reminds you that life is worth living because we are a long time dead. Keep fighting, keep doing it.
We love you brother bear. We will always be there for you no matter what!
G-man you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.
Remember that life’s greatest lessons are usually learned from worst times.

It's been a terrible year, Gareth - - for all of us. I find myself reading my daily prayers and being thankful that Jesus has kept me out of the darkness. I hope you find that healing.

“Why me? What did I do to deserve this?” These are questions that many of us have often asked. However, somewhere along the way, I have learned that “It rains on the just and the unjust.” It doesn’t take away the suffering, but it reminds me that I am not immune to the “Human Condition.”
Don't think too much my friend, try to be present in the moment. Thinking only creates problems. Stress, Anxiety, depression, anger it all comes from thinking. We either think of the past and future and that's where the problem starts. The past and future is not reality, only NOW is reality. Empty your mind by being present in the moment. The moment you switch to thinking your mind takes control of your life. Your mind is a instrument, don't let it use you.
YOU ARE NOT YOUR MIND!
Be present, observe your surroundings, ask yourself "am I present now? Then you are.
Your true self can only be found in this moment right now anything else is mind created and false

I'm glad you are taken some of your own wires words and never give up as your supporters are here to listen to you and support you through the good times and the bad the hardest thing is to reach out and ask for help for what ever reason it maybe as men we tend to try and have this hard exterior and to ask for help or just cry is to be weak and that is far from the truth. If it is weak to ask for help or cry on a shoulder why is it so hard to do. Anyway Gman as a Kiwi we have our brothers over the ditch but your our big cousin's with the remote and we want it back 😆🤣😂 as you say it best Gman Walk Tall and Never Give Up.

WOW what a year. I think what you have done here is extremely brave. I have suffered with depression myself and it is hell and being honest it never truely goes away but you can beat it. Im sorry to hear of your loss of your grandfather. I have unfortunately lost all my grandparents and it is devastating but over time i have learned that being a grandson we have an opportunity to keep building the legacy of those we follow do that and know they look down on us with pride which im sure your grandfather is as you have acheived so much respect globally. As for hearing your mum's diagnosis that is devastating and my heart bleeds for you. All i can say is as a parent to 5 kids no matter what if there was an option i would take their place if they were diagnosed with a terminal illness. Be brave Gman your mum will need your support and your strength to keep going. It's easy for me to put in words but you have to find a way no matter what
And i wish you both you and your mum can get through this together with your family and friends. As for battling depression all i can say on that front is take 1 step at a time mini goals. The more you can acheive the more you will want to acheive and that builds a way to beat back the depression. As you say wisely look back with pride never give up move forward stand tall climb to greater things. But remember to take things slowly as putting to much on yourself will only lead you to drown and wollow in self pitty and further depression. Don't let it happen your stronger than you know.

I don't talk much normally, I'm a quiet guy, especially about feelings.
I'm sorry to hear life's getting you down.
I'm not one for self pity, and don't like being consoled (so please don't, although comments like "man the fuck up" are fine, and make me laugh)
But, I understand how hard it is.
I haven't even seen my mother since I was 16, she had a breakdown and left us.
Needless to say, she had some pretty odd ideas about child raising in the years up too this. Mental illness will do that too you.
Between 2009-2011, I had the worst time.
I had lost both my grandparents, my nan first in 2009, and my gramps the next year.(they guided me through my formative years as my young parents were busy doing other things, they weren't great parents, they were kids themselves).
Then, I lost my missus to skin cancer in 2011 (she was 36 and had 4 kids, who went to live with her sister).
(wear sunscreen, you fecking idiots, malignant melanomas are a 50/50 survival rate )

I was besides myself. I couldn't think straight, I lost control of my emotions, I wanted to fight the world, but at the same time I just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry.
I came within a whisker of giving up and losing my house and the rest of my family.
I went massively into smoking cannabis to control my temper, and I lost many, many friends (due to the temper, not the cannabis)
Life seemed so unfair.
And it was,
but it's also equal opportunities, and we will all feel that grief at some stage (I just hope people deal with it better than I did, most do)
Life gets better, time does heal. And sometimes, not getting what you want out of life can make you stronger.
And I still have one of our two dogs too keep me company, and she's my two eyes.
It's just a shame it hurts so much to get there.

Mate, manage the depression positively. After a few years, you would realize that you are not managing it any more but you have actually overcame it. It's an old cliché, " time heals" but it is true. Re your mom, I am sorry to hear about her cancer, but death is a fact of life. Be with her, support her, be strong for her. She does not need you breaking down around her when you should be there to be her strength. It's not about you now, as tough as it is.
You are so lucky to have great people around you. I know of people who have been through similar tough situations as you, possibly even tougher, but the difference is that they did not have anyone to support them through it.
Hello my old friend. Hard times do pass. How we heade it is what makes it what it's worth. People like you who help others with thier own life challenges are rare in such a dark dark world man. Your rugby streams, reactions and analysis is incredible. It creates a space where we forget the bitterness of reality, and interact amoungst eachother over a powerful game. And to be able to invest time to create that space whether people agree or disagree is an amazing attribute you share. Live for those we have lost in a way they were still here, make them proud. Losing my father, my biggest rock and beat friend, I went to a dark place. But I felt that failed what my father had always wanted for me as a boy growing into a man. To lose my path that he invest all his time and love to continue on. Be the strongest man by your mums side you can ever be. You can't regret how much love she will always feel. Keep strong man. Always here for you.
Do you remember school Gareth , blink and its gone ,the pain in your life wont go on forever ,as for your mum you find out if you can do anything for her, you find out about vitamin B17 you find out about Bitter apricot kernells, God bless son
