Thanks, toying with getting this version, i have their 14 litre saddle bag but I'm going to move heavy stuff to cage mounts on a small rear rack, combined with a new custom full frame and handlebar bag i feel 7 litres here for clothes is sufficient. I really like the harness method of saddle packs especially the magnetic clip here compared to strapping things to the top of a rear rack (i had loose straps on pannier rack getting tangled into the rear mech on one trip!) and as this harness is lightweight i won't have much of a weight penalty going with a small rack plus saddle pack.
That’s an interesting set up you’ve got planned, definitely sounds better than running the risk of loose straps getting tangled! We have the 14L one too, it is our favourite saddle bag holster system to use for bikepacking! We hope to post our review of it soon 👍🏼
How does it work if you do not have 7 litres of stuff in it. For instance I might start a trip with it full but as the trip carries I use what’s in the bag and now I only have 3litres. Is it still secure a wobble free . Thanks
So the cool thing is that the harness is what dictates the wobble. If the actual harness is tight enough, you could have an almost empty bag just bouncing inside the harness, without the wobble.
There is one extra loop at the bottom of the holster. Instructions say it is "Attachment Loops for all Saddle Angles". Still can't figure out the purpose of that one, what I can attach there
Those loops allow you to reposition the seatpost strap to get the ideal angle of the holster against the saddle. As your seatpost and saddle gets further back, the lower loops will provide a better position, and vice versa. Hope that makes sense!
Great review! Great bag!
Thanks so much! We definitely love the simplicity of it.

Thanks, very god !!
Best regards from Germany
Thanks so much! Glad you found it helpful!
Is the strap of the saddle big enough for a aero seatpost ?
