Fibersim in NX: Creating splices and darts

In this short video, we will be demonstrating how to resolve potential producibility issues within Fibersim with NX. We will start by generating 4 plies of differing orientations then work within the manufacturing section of the tree to perform 2 commands, splicing plies and generating darts. Essentially, we will be modifying the width line, splicing the ply, then reselecting an alternate origin point. In addition, we will be creating slit darts by selecting preestablished base points to alleviate areas that exceed the deformation limit.
