A really hard choice between these. I was at the same place in 18 and bought a Raptor. Now that the Limited has the Raptor engine, I would probably choose the Limited. The only thing I'm not loving about the Limited is the interior color. For the last 3 years, Ford has used polarizing color choices. I wish they'd offer a 2nd choice such as deep black with contrasting stitching.

Let's just get it straight guys, With a Raptor you will receive good looks from people every time you take it out to the road. With the Limited people will just think it's a regular F150.
Don't forget to add in the xtra trips to the dealer for the turbo and spark plug problems.

Xl super crew 4 by 4 5.0 with long tube headers a good tune and you’re making as much horsepower as the eco boost. Buy the 3.0 fox shocks with the 2inch level get 35s and you’d save about 30-40k depending where you buy your truck. That’s what I drive and I love it

Richard Mendez agree. Really the raptor interior isn’t really much different than a cheaper Lariat. Now I understand why my trusted dealer won’t sell the raptor because he’s always said they’re not worth it.

Like both of these trucks as is. From the design aspect they made great choices. Chrome handles on the limited is tacking and flashy and will not look elegant. Maybe color matched with chrome trimming will do the job. Same for the limited badge on the hood.

For the limited I like that it can tow more, however I like the interior of the Raptor. The Limited has a little too much bling for my taste. But over all both trucks are great.

I had the massaging seats in my KR and found them to be ineffective and never used them. I dont miss them at all

I bought a fully loaded Lariat in 2018 because I couldn't stand the Limited on the hood. I also liked my color matched grill, bumper, and door handles. I'm not a fan of all the chrome and metal trim on the Platinum and Limited. Of course if I waited year I could have got the high output Ecoboost. That may have swayed my decision if it were available at the time.

Honestly want one really bad lmao. I can't wait for my lease to be up next year on my silverado. I will probably get a used one 17 or 18. Would have settled for the ranger raptor but apparently those will not come to the US :(.

Can you compare a 2021 or 2022 Ford Limited to the 2020 Ford 150 limited video you did. It seems the 2020 limited has the Raptor engine at 450 horse. The new 21,22 models are updated but have a worse engine option and no dual exhaust and only 400 hp. The new limited has updated screens and styling but seems the 2020 might be a better performance option. Thanks as always.
Know what truck I like even better is the F1 50 Roush with the 5.0 V8 now that one sounds really bad ass! I’m sorry I ever sold that one and the funny thing is the finance manager at the dealer literally bought it the same day I traded it in and he still has it and loves it

Looking for honest answer here. For some time now I've been researching what makes a Raptor worth so much more money than, say, a $30k STX 4wd (with locking diff) with a 2" lift and better, 33" tires. In most (if not all) offroad scenarios, would there be a big difference? Would the STX literally fall apart keeping up? I get that Raptor has better shocks (which really just means you can jump it), but is there a $30k difference that I am not obviously seeing? I can put a 2" front/rear lift in (kit also has upgraded rear shocks) and much upgraded 33" tires than the OEM streets for around $1700 total including alignment. So for $32k I have a 4wd crewcab that is lighter and faster than the Raptor, and gets 24 mpg. I am not bashing the Raptor (I'm a huge fan!), but genuinely want to know what makes it "tougher" than a standard F150?
have you reviewed a King Ranch side by side with the Limited? What are the differences? Is the King Ranch more luxurious then the Limited? Being from Texas i would be interested in the King Ranch, need a nice truck to go with my Bullit.

The limited is more luxurious than the King Ranch. For start it's the only truck that has the Raptor engine 3.5 high output EcoBoost. And it comes standard with all the top-of-the-line features. Unlike the platinum and King Ranch you have to upgrade to the top of line features and you cannot get the 3.5 high output EcoBoost Raptor engine in the king ranch or platinum. Only the 3.5 twin turbo standard. Now I do like the magma red King ranch with the King ranch interior over any 2018 and 19 limited.

It’s a tough call...if they put the wise body fenders and truck bed on the limited... then it wouldn’t be hard ... the Raptor is a mean looking truck it’s a beauty... but the limited is all class

I would get the Raptor, then take it to Hennessy and have them put a warrantied V8 in it with no supercharger or anything that way I could actually drive the truck without drinking the gas tank all of the time.

Great review. As far as the front hood lettering badging, it's a keeper. As a 2019 Ford F150 Limited owner it's all about model recognition. Be it from the back or from the front. Inside or out. I paid a premium for that distinction. And I want it known.

Very easy to do. The f150 truck is very wide. You can fit 4 full size adults in the back. It is tight but no one is on top of anyone.
Is there an option to switch the brown leather to black?

Love my Raptor but the Rebel TRX V8 SuperCharged with a possible 700+ HP is suppose to be coming in 2021. Hopefully Ford will have an answer to it if the TRX is what some are claiming.

RockyTop1911 the raptor isn’t built to be a drag racer, it’s an outrageously capable off-road truck that is also very fast, dodge doesn’t make anything that can compete with the raptor overall, you want something fast you buy a car, what’s the point of having a pissing contest about speed in a pickup? Roush already makes an f150 with 700hp that is 0-60 in 3 seconds.
Just think: A Truck straight from the Manufacturer covered by the manufacturer warranty that can do everything the Raptor can do and also have 700+ HP and more torque. Depending on price, that could really hurt Raptor sales. It's common sense. Will it actually get produced? I guess we'll have to wait and see. Last I have heard is RAM will make a Rebel TR and TRX. Some have said that the TRX may be more of a street truck while the TR will be the off road Raptor Competitor. Should be interesting.

Hey,,, I like that Raptor! I'm not sure about your explanation about the 3 little lights on the grill though. There is a law that covers widths but it also states that those lights have to be on the back not the front. I think FORD puts them on the Raptor to distinguish them from the other F150s. Just my 2 cents.
The law states front of vehicle from what I understand,
Actually the law states that the ID lights have to be in the rear if the vehicle is over 80" in width such as the F450s and such. Remember, those have the 3 ID lights in the rear only as required by DOT. I think the RAPTOR lighting is just for show but that's my opinion. It's still a great pickup and you did a great job with the video.Wow! What do you think about the new Harley Davidson Version F150? That is some radical pickup isn't it!!! I like the RAPTOR but I think the HD F150 is my pick!! Keep up the great work!!

SKM4 30 to be honest bro, you should go with a Raptor instead of the Roush. I’ve owned 2 Roush vehicles, and they don’t hold value at all. My mustangs were considered as Mustang Premiums (with after market parts). And you never get value with after market. The Raptor however will hold its value if you ever decide to get rid of it.

Yeah, absolutely bead lock wheels. That Raptor is a damn beast. I luv that white too. Why do they even make an extended cab Raptor? Nobody is going to buy a Raptor as a work truck and need a long bed. I'm drooling. Also, your power source is to the right of the licence plate. I do wish the Raptor had an option package for beautiful leather and colors like a King Ranch or Limited. I know that you can get the peeps at the shop to redo the leather for about $1,500. The plastic door map holders are plastic because people spray them out with a hose b/c they get filthy.
