I have an older DX8 silver and would like to bind it. But, not sure if recover panic is possible. As the manual has a p-mix and my radio has C-mix And the switches have no letter association. I am stuck. Can someone hit me back or make a video showing the steps? Thank you
Fantastic! Heli and radio waterproof !!! Finally, now i can go fly in the rain ! Great job suggesting to fly in those conditions, water will not go in the radio at all, amd usually is very good for it. Also the electric parts of the bird, they love when water goes in. Oh, no, wait, horizon love it bwcause now you need a new radio . ….and a heli I truly miss the old horizon style.
Great heli but I can’t bind my 330s to my dx6i tried everything any thoughts? My dx6i binds fine to my 230s and my 500x so I’m not sure what’s going on any help appreciated thanks
Nice flying heli, how would this compare to the older 450's . More tame and stable in a hover? tried a trex 450 but acted like it drank a red bull and was spastic. lol currently flying a blade 200s and is smooth , tricky to get off the ground but still a nice heli.
First thing I noticed is the tail wobbling like crazy, visible from even farther away. If I were HH don't think I would be showing this thing on a YT vid until that issue is resolved. Received my 230s v2 a week ago, its a suburb flyer and I wanted to get this as well. Based on many comments and reviews I don't believe I could solve the tail wag problem on my own so going to pass on this one.
Any info on the 330s canopys are they ever gonna have um instock i can't seem to find um the exact canopy for this heli i was told they be out in may and they still don't have um?
I have the 330 S helicopter RTF. On the dual rate, there is "0" and "1". Which is high rate and which is low rate. I read the book and it does not say anything about it.
I really enjoy this hobby. I have many Blade hells at this point. How will I know when it becomes illegal to fly my helis in my yard? I don't understand this whole FAA thing. Thanks
@Trevor Case FAA proposed rules requiring remote ID for all RC aircraft. Do some quick research on this and you will see this could be the end of this hobby. Bottom line is Amazon, FedEx, USP et al want the airspace for their delivery drones. Just getting into helis myself but proceeding with caution.
Man I beat my self up for selling my Xcell 60 , For all you new guys back in the day we did not have electric / small Helis. They were much bigger! Giants compared to this. Easier to fly and more stable . But we did not have safe either so you just had to jump in the deep end lol lol
LOL..thats right well I was young in the 80s and 90s, couldnt afford rc then.. But I did get money from parents and relatives to buy rc planes and cars from Tower Hobbies.. Back when they (tower Hobbies) used to be cool with Great Planes and Topflite and Carl Goldberg kits unlike today.. Anyway, I remember the Kyosho Concept 30 Heli ARF Ultimate Combo from tower hobbies for like 800.00 That was the cheapest you was going to get an RC Heli already built with the 30 sized motor installed with the all the radio and field equipment needed!! I was curious about rc helis then and wanted one, but they looked way too complicated and expensive, not to mention learning the damn thing!! In 2010 the craze for RC Helicopters had risen again, due to the little electric brushless mirco helis that hit the market with the battery and radio included!! I got into it with the Walkera UFLY S and CB180 fixed pitch helis. Well, the Coaxial helis i learned with first!! Im like wow It still was hard to learn and I crashed alot and put helis in the trash after fixing so many times. BUT THE POINT IS IT WAS CHEAP AND ACCESSABLE TO ME, unlike back in the 80s and 90s.. And my first collective pitch was blade SR, AKA the 230s it is now!!.. Well thats my story of how I now fly rc helis along with my planes.. If it wasnt for technology, I would still not have a rc heli!! Now I fly 450 to 700s!! I hate these drones though!! Its killing the RC helis!!
@@RockbeThyName Cool story and nice to hear from someone that likes the hobby. The flying field I grew up with closed long ago and the second one near me and my wifes home was just 10 minutes down the road, it to closed. So not much flying for me. True the little electrics have made it much easier to get into helis. I tried a Blade 200s it was ok but had issues with the Auto stabilization. Tried a Trex 450 but it flew like a Chip Munk that just drank about 5 cups of coffee. lol lol. Im not into the 3-D flying and thats what these little helis are set up for I guess. I'll keep watching youtube and maybe give another one a try one day. thanks for the reply!
Lol.. sorry to hear about your rc park closing down!! I know that's been happening alot of places.. And I hate to hear you a bad experience with the Blade 230s or whatever version you had.. I have one, the current form it's in today as the 230s v2 and I think she flies good.. But I also have the Blade Fusion 360 it flies so smooth and precise!! The 230s doesn't fly as good of course to higher end helis, but Blade 230 has come along way from its beginnings as the Blade CP PRO!! So yes Trex 450 is way more powerful and more graceful than the 230 you flew..lol Alot to handle for a nervous new comer.. I have the Blade 330s coming to me tomorrow in the mail, yeah!! Always glad to chat with another rc enthusiast.. Sorry if I ramble on, I hope you get back into helis, cars, or boats as long as you give it another go!!
Worse Blade Heli I have purchased. The Tail wags so bad it is un flyable. Horizon keeps removing my comment about this. Local Hobby shop has spent hours on phone with them trying to resolve issue with no luck...
I love my 330s. There isn’t another heli in my collection that is as smooth as this!!
I Love the 330S.
I've had a lil tail wag, just tighen up the tail casing screws...
Which helicopter is better blade 230s or blade 330s
Mine shows up Friday, i also got the transformer body so full fuselage. I dont see anyone using them though
That is incredibly cool, seeing that heli rip in a snow storm!
I've bought one and still waiting to get to use the weather here in the uk has been shocking.
are you ever bringing it back in stock the 330s been out of stock in 3 month

Just got the RTF 330s!
I really fancy moving from my 230 to the 330 but am concerned about the tail wag issues. How do you tune them out for all flight modes??
wish this Heli came out before I invested in the Fusion 270
Do you have the radio set ups for the dx6e?
Can you hurry up an bring the 330s back in stock

what is the flightime? 5minutes ?
Basically. You can get 6+ if you don't fly like a maniac!
@@horizonhobby okay thank you!
What part(s) do I need to enable Flight Battery Voltage telemetry using My DX8 gen 2 with 330s heli? thanks

can you do a rc draco me and my dad would love it and buy it
we love horizon hobby
Nice to see someone flying in worse conditions than me for a change. 😂
Ha!
That tail wag isn’t encouraging.
I've got one. It can be tuned out (see TH-cam account CoeShow619) , but it's quite telling that it's even in Horizons promo material. 😁
